And he was the one who apparently came up with the far forward lean during 'Smooth Criminal'.
He and his performers have special shoes that lock on to a certain part of the stage that helps them lean forward, that said, he still has to get the timing down right and have the core muscles to make sure he stays stable...which he obviously did.

Their is a reason MJ is known as the King of Pop, one of the all time greats. I was fortunate to see him once in concert and no live performances since has ever come close to the thrill and exhilaration i felt at the MJ concert.

열차바퀴 안무(? 가운데 마잭을 중심으로 좌, 우로 확산해가며 같은 동작을 따라하는 춤동작)는 진짜 넋놓고 봤었네요. 지금 봐도 멋진 안무에요. 여러 가수들, 특히 내가 사랑하는 BTS의 안무 곳곳에서도 자주 저런 패턴이 보일만큼 여전히 세련된 움직임입니다.

MJ really took the standard of what a great performance is to the highest level. No one can really match up to how great he is on stage performing. Its also wonderful that the generation now looks up to him so this standard of great performances is maintained. For example, a lot of Kpop live performances are hella wonderful and has a close level of a great performance as MJ has. That's just one of the examples.
