+Haley Isaak I don't call it a Muska flip. I call them both frontside flips, but I agree that the hardflip way looks so muck cooler. I could do frontside flips both ways, but I preferred the hardflip way.
I tried them for 3 hours today i don't understand why I couldn't do it. I got so frustrated I broke my board. now I gotta wait forever to a new one . shit
gabe is right, the pivot doesnt help at all because youre still fundamentally only doing a regular kickflip and the 180 afterwards, the trick is being able to do both simultaneously so pivoting after kickflipping wont give you the same movement
The most accepted way to do a fs flip is if the board spins really fast. The best looking ones are those fully flipped at 90 degree angle then turned 90 more from then on. Just look at Andrew Reynolds, Greg Lutzka and some guys from Majer, their fs flips don't look like hardflip 180 and they look way better.
Man, I never thought I would be good enough to get to these intermediate tricks. I mean, my Hardflips kind of suck, but hopefully once I practice them and Frontside flips more they'll get better. So far I just have Back Bigspin (Learned it without pop first, but still needs some work.) and Varial Flips, which I actually learned trying 360 Flips. Pretty excited to learn Inward Heels.
Thanks Aaron, this is the trick I'm struggling with to land it those time... I hope sooner land it. In the mean time continu to entertain-educate-fun us. Peace Aaron
Do more skate supports with Gabe and Lance! And do a review on your etnies Marana vulcs when you think they are done being skated. If you do, include on how long it lasted you please.
Hey Aaron, i would like to hear your opinion about longboarding. I do longboading and some skating but i noticed that Longboarder getting blamed by Skaters. Maybe you could do a video about it. Greetings from Germany!
There is really no problem with longboarders that try maybe bomb hills maybe like do a trick if you can but if its only riding then at least try to learn
I can do 6 out of 10 kickflips and 9 out 10 F/S 180s would that make it easier to attempt the frontside flip or not? And is the pivot one harder than the hardflip looking one?
You dont need that pivot step to learn fs flips. Just learn to catch your board at 90 degress and your legs will rotate the rest of the spin as long as you turn your shoulders enough.
Hey Aaron, i would really appreciate if you did a 360 shuvit trick tip, i know this channel already has one but i would like it if you did one yourself, thanks.
I'm coming to the San fransico Bay Area to meet you mr. Aaron kyro. Were gonna play a game of skate while rio by orangutang is playing :) hahaha, but seriously I'd love to meet you, you seem like a laid back guy who actually wants to keep skating alive and help kids out
If you stop with putting the tail of board down to stop it makes it go down was. Instead try when you want to stop put the heel Of your foot hanging Off the tail a little vertical then push down and you will stop saves your board but ruins your shoes
It's definitely good to not stop with the tail, but you will still get razor tail from doing any tricks that pop. One thing I do is popping with the nose half the time. Although it feels a bit different, it doesn't affect any of my tricks. The other thing is that I usually don't skate in front of my house because I've found neighborhoods and schools with smoother surfaces (you can go faster and it feels better too).
No i think frontside flips are way easier hard flips are weird and scary because it always looks like your gonna get credit carded so if you learn frontside flips hard flips will be easier but still hard
frontside flips are miles easier than hardflips, i can do both, but literally i just do a front 180 with my foot angled and the board pretty much rolls off my foot and flips, and i land, hardlflips have a really awkward feeling technique that can only be more comfortable if you learn inward heels or frontside flips
to me a good frontside flip should be somewhere between what aaron does and a hardflip body varial (muska flip). like how reynolds does them, right in the middle. technically a muska flip is its own trick which i also like, i just dont think of it as a frontside flip. not hating aaron can do whatever he wants but his frontside flip style isnt my taste lol
I used to have these on lock regular and fakie, now I can't seem to do em to save my life, I think I lost them the once I switched from 8.0 to 8.25, God I want this trick back
I really need help with this trick, I have landed it twice but I can just learn it.. I am consistent with my hard flips and frond sides and I can do backside hard flips (ghetto birds) but I can learn those fucking frondside flips, any tips because the video didn't help me at all...😒
i cant understand how anybody cant hate on this, if you skateboard and you love it, there is no such sensation like when one of your mates locks his trick, we all love when we land the trick we were working on, or the gap or the stairs whatever, how could somebody possibly hate on these support videos i will never understand. The only guess is that nowdays its full of idiots with good legs but bad spirit.
What I love about these is that he doesn't judge anyone when they can't land even the basics, it just shows how much patience he has
when i see these videos i cant help but smiling
So true.
How are the Maranas going? I ordered a pair. Can't wait till they come!
in my opinion hardflip body varials (muska flip) looks cooler than a "real" frontside flip
+Haley Isaak I don't call it a Muska flip. I call them both frontside flips, but I agree that the hardflip way looks so muck cooler. I could do frontside flips both ways, but I preferred the hardflip way.
Same, always thought the hardflip way looked dope. One of the coolest looking tricks on a skateboard IMO
Hey Aaron, these Gabe live skate support on skateboarding made simple volume 5 tricks really help me a lot. Keep up the good job.
That is clearly a hard flip body varial
you should do more live skate supports with lance
Yes more lance
*Gab
Gabe is progressing so fast.
Do more lance live skate supports
I liked both these comments cause I agree with both
Didier Jacques
that's gay dude
*****
doesn't aaron? and lance on gabe's varial heels?
how can you teach a #skategod ?
Looks like he ended up doing the hardflip version
That looks like a hardflip body varial
What do you think a frontside flip is
TyeIV a frontside kickflip. a hardflip body varial is a muska flip
TyeIV A frontside 180 kickflip ._.
A muska flip is a way to do a frontside flip
The most accepted way to do a fs flip is if the board spins really fast. The best looking ones are those fully flipped at 90 degree angle then turned 90 more from then on. Just look at Andrew Reynolds, Greg Lutzka and some guys from Majer, their fs flips don't look like hardflip 180 and they look way better.
This video made me realize skaters could be professional dancers xD good job Gabe
Dang! Gabe, got some good snap on that board 💪🙌.
Gabe is love, Gabe is live
Hey Aaron have you ever thought about ollie the gap where lance is
I like how the channel is going a lot. My favorites are game of skate
I go to El Toro High School...
Fr
Thanks Aaron kyro I finally can do a front side kickflip with your tips thanks
Congrats on frontside flips gabe
Aaron's board is sick!
El toro board! Get it here: www.theshredquarters.com/el-toro-deck/
Thanks!
Thanks Aaron, this is the trick I'm struggling with to land it those time... I hope sooner land it. In the mean time continu to entertain-educate-fun us.

I actually do skate tricks on a longboard, and also do some slides. Choose the one you are more comfortable with
Aaron when u were learning how to skate did u have friends to skate with?
I can do 6 out of 10 kickflips and 9 out 10 F/S 180s would that make it easier to attempt the frontside flip or not? And is the pivot one harder than the hardflip looking one?
gabe i love your shirt do you skate vans shoes
i learnt the way your trick told me to but now all my fs flips are like 100 degree angles then reverts how do i get the full 180 without a revert?
You dont need that pivot step to learn fs flips. Just learn to catch your board at 90 degress and your legs will rotate the rest of the spin as long as you turn your shoulders enough.
Hey Aaron can you do the dragon flip?
My frontside flips definitely do the hardlip body varial motion like Aaron said. How do I stop doing that? lol.
Did Gabe get a new board could you do a board set - up with Gabe
Darude- Sandstorm
nikita martschenko
:3
wtf where did my comment go???
nikita martschenko
erm... whitch one are you replying?
Look at his channel gabe cruz ull se the setup video :)
I heard Head & Shoulders so much I was expecting Troy Polamalu to come and tackle Aaron for a commercial piece.
Hey Aaron, i would really appreciate if you did a 360 shuvit trick tip, i know this channel already has one but i would like it if you did one yourself, thanks.

It is normal that my board gets used down at the tail really fast?
Nice video as always, cheers!
If you stop with putting the tail of board down to stop it makes it go down was. Instead try when you want to stop put the heel Of your foot hanging Off the tail a little vertical then push down and you will stop saves your board but ruins your shoes
Yea, that does make sense :D
Also I think it's because of my bad manuals, too. Thanks anyways
If you skate on tarmac, you'll get a razor tail real quick. Also depends on the tricks you do, e.g: learning no comply fs 180s will wreck your tail
Gabe or Lance. Either ones fun to watch progress.
I just realized my problem with my frontside 180's are my head and shoulders not turning....thanks Aaron and gabe!!
the white guy trying to teach a fs flip via a pivot.. but the kid ended up not pivoting any of the ones he landed...
"the white guy" lmao
Am i right in thinking that the hardflip way would essentially be a muska flip?
i cant seem to get this trick i can fs 180 and i can kickflip but not all the time do i need to be constant with my kickflips to land this trick
Did Aaron get a new board?
Another question :) Is 101a Wheels too hard to skate street? I Think it is but maybe not
thats pretty standard
the bones stf's are the best in my experience (83b is the same as 101a)
Aaron's laugh at 2:00 sounds like Nicki Manaj Anaconda
Haha yeah
just learned this trick today so hyped!
Your awesome dude, appreciate your time
And...he did the hardflip body varial. Maybe do another vid learning them the other way?
Is this the best way to learn it? By doing the kickflip pivot? cuz I learned my fs 180 without doing pivots. Anyone got tips or something
Never learn it like this
the hardflip body varial is called a muska flip, my brother.
Chris Cole went to Woodward right after you did Aaron! you missed him
Good job!! Gabe!!!!!!!
I land hardflips like 1 out of 4 tries, if I get it down am I ready to move on to the Frontside flip ?
For me it's easier do do frontside flips then hardflips
Gabe is love
Gabe is life
Lol
I need help on kickflips I flip it all the way but my feet land on the sides please tell e what im doing rong
spelling
i could only do it hard flip way back when i skated lol but i can normal switch back side flip at times lol
muska flip - hardflip body varial. frontside flip - fs 180 kickflip.
i learned frontside flips in 30 mins without these steps. if you can kickflip and 180 well, youre good to go.
are these tougher than hard flips? I need to know which to learn first.
No i think frontside flips are way easier hard flips are weird and scary because it always looks like your gonna get credit carded so if you learn frontside flips hard flips will be easier but still hard
I learned hardflips first but that took me two months to land my first one so...
frontside flips are miles easier than hardflips, i can do both, but literally i just do a front 180 with my foot angled and the board pretty much rolls off my foot and flips, and i land, hardlflips have a really awkward feeling technique that can only be more comfortable if you learn inward heels or frontside flips
Is this just like a varial but your body turns with it
No...
more like a hardflip with a front side body varial.thats the only way i can ever land mine anyway.still trying to get them in the bag though
that's a backside flip
to me a good frontside flip should be somewhere between what aaron does and a hardflip body varial (muska flip). like how reynolds does them, right in the middle. technically a muska flip is its own trick which i also like, i just dont think of it as a frontside flip. not hating aaron can do whatever he wants but his frontside flip style isnt my taste lol
Same lol
Gabe's frontside flips look like frontside hardflips
aaron you are such a cool teacher lmao
I love that "welcome to skateboarding" part which just means too much just sayi'n
Yeah..But can you pivot a 10 stair?
you idiot you wouldn't need to you would have enough air time to naturally do the 180 the do it on flat cause they hit the ground faster
+Cycle. Ok😶😳🙁😕
I used to have these on lock regular and fakie, now I can't seem to do em to save my life, I think I lost them the once I switched from 8.0 to 8.25, God I want this trick back
"Did you smash your nuts?" Dude i cant stop laughing
The thumbnail is awesome.
Could someone help me? Im injured, my heel is hurt but the pain is almost gone when i should start back? I'm injured for two weeks
You can start right now. Just take it easy with tricks. Ride your board around and cruise for a few days before going back to doing tricks.
yea I think gabe was secretly doing the hardflip body varial way cus they other way wasn't working for him. whatever works
I really need help with this trick, I have landed it twice but I can just learn it.. I am consistent with my hard flips and frond sides and I can do backside hard flips (ghetto birds) but I can learn those fucking frondside flips, any tips because the video didn't help me at all...😒
He should do more lance and Gabe skate supports ! Like
That was a hard flip with a body varial!
Who cares if it was the hardflip version trick looks dope afff 👍👍👍👍👍
In my opinion muska flips are easier to learn that regular front side flips...
Mountain mikes is sooo good
If you master kickflip to nose manual, I think it would make it easier to learn...
Anyone think a Live Skate Support on ollieing drops would be cool? I'd like to see how good Gabe is with height.
Nice video!
THIS IS WHY ILLUSION FLIP IS BETTER :3
i cant understand how anybody cant hate on this, if you skateboard and you love it, there is no such sensation like when one of your mates locks his trick, we all love when we land the trick we were working on, or the gap or the stairs whatever, how could somebody possibly hate on these support videos i will never understand. The only guess is that nowdays its full of idiots with good legs but bad spirit.
why do people hate gabe? hes such a rad guy
Because he is a stray skater adopted by Aaron and people wish it were them.
Got this weird "karate kid" feeling over this, Aaron is the sensei and gabe the student XD
Muska flip?
Hardflip one all the way!!!
isn't it a fs hardflip???the board turns between his legs!!!!????
Nice shaved in side part gabe XD
Teach lance varial flip
No varial heel because lance is better at heelflips.
Damn this kid learns fast
Tyelv right this is fronside flip
I wish I could do this
wheres lance live skate support?!
Good vid :)
did anybody els notice games wheel at the start, its a cube!!!
We need more lance skate supports.
Lance needs to really master his basic tricks he really doesn't have then to amazing
Gabe did a trick mission of this on his channel and landed it. So...?
5:40 shoutout to the trash fly by. Represent!
why is he doing a muska flip
might just be me being blind but when gabe lands them they look like he just was like "fuck it imma just do it the hard flip way"
I live by the two to make it true motto
