This is absolutely STUNNING!! I'm just beginning acrylic painting landscapes and barely dipping my toes into cityscapes and this just amazes me. I only can hope to get as talented as you at cityscapes someday.
Thank you so much!! You can be and you will be, maybe even better than me, if you keep working at it. Believe that! For a long time I didn't think I could get good at it. Until one day, I stopped hoping and just did it. It happened when I finally took action.
@@JCoronaPaintings It is a beautiful city. I have one question about help. There is one picture that I really like that I would like to have on the wall. I am not an artist but I have a desire to paint it if I could get your help. Thank you
I have been painting a few years now and just now started to get into urban painting. I was born and raised in Brooklyn and worked as an executive secretary/assistant in Manhattan for years. Driving over the Brooklyn Bridge every day. I never knew it was the Eighth Wonder of The World. I should have paid more attention back then. Now I live in Northern rural California with just the opposite scenery everyday makes me hunger for these urban scenes and people.
You all prolly dont give a damn but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Colby Timothy I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm trying it out atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I was having trouble with my final year project in art school but this was the exact help I was looking for. I think I know how to fix the line between the city and water in my painting now😂
Can you tell me the colors you used? I am going to paint this on a 48x60 canvas, want to go lighter on the colors, a different time point in the sunset, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hello! It's been a long time since i did this. Im not quite sure what the colors were I used. I'm guessing it was lamp black, titanium white, ultramarine blue, cobalt blue and magenta. Try these to get you started. Im sure you could get close to the same tones by experimenting with other colors as well 😊
Thank you! I used a brush called RIGGER BRUSH (its like a liner brush) to make the dots. Then I used another brush called ROUND BRUSH to smudge the dots. I hope this helps😊
I appreciate it!! Talent can never take the place of intentional practice and determination. It may not turn out how you expect the first time, but keep trying. You got this! 😊👍

Thank you so much, Marianne Cappitelli. This was a gift for a good friend of mine.
Fantastic painting. Did you start with acrylic and then do the highlights with oil? Fantastic wow
Dane, yes. That's pretty what I did. I think i started using oil when I started painting the buildings.
