Brilliant! Why didn't anyone ever say all of that in one place before? My mom taught me a few things, including: 1) don't wear a trend just because it is trending. trends don't work for everyone. wear what fits you right. 2) foundation is vital. most women's biggest mistake is wearing a poor foundation that throws off the look of their clothes and/or figure 3) buy classics first. you don't need lots, but buy the classics to get you through the week first. 4) if you have money left over, and there's a trend that you like, and it fits your look, then indulge in a little bit of the trend world... and enjoy it while you can, cuz it will trend out sooner than you realize. 5) buy separates and solids more than anything else. They mix and match and expand your wardrobe well beyond whole piece wardrobe items like dresses, suits, and jumpers. I've never had a large closet or a large budget. But mom's wisdom empowers me more every year. When I get tired of my clothes, more than likely, all I need is to shop for new combinations of my separates to become not only content, but more empowered. After a while, I started learning to keep a notebook, cuz, as I get older, and as my necklace and jacket/sweater/vest/shoes/scarves investments increases a bit, I don't remember what looks natural instead of, "Oh, I guess she felt she just had to wear a scarf today. Are scarves even in?" (Yes, and no ... some scarving options are trending, but when done right for the style of the season, a scarf can be extremely natural, and then ya understand why French women learned to indulge in a new scarf when their wardrobe went dull in their face.....) ....BUT TODAY I found KELLY SNYDER here on this channel, and all the above power is about to be massively enhanced!!!! So hyped. Your first video in my feed? Was wide leg jeans. I had been terrified of even considering wide leg jeans. Now? I might still be, because I have a bit of a tummy? But that will depend on where the waist line hits me. The rest of it is all math, and I know that thanks to KELLY SNYDER!!!!! Thrilled to be able to follow you and learn more!!!!🎉🤗🎉 Thanks, Kelly! Off to go conquer the world. I'll be back to keep trying to make adoring my wardrobe easier, more straightforward, and more powerful!!! (Oh, and thank you for explaining why I like long necklaces but my daughter doesn't!!!!!😂)
Thank you for the informative video. I just took my measurements and it was determined that I am a straight body type. Never in a million years I would’ve thought that I was. I always assumed that I was an apple or carrot because I am so top heavy and wide on top.
Same. I say I'm a squoval lol. My bust is larger than my hips, but my shoulders are about even with my hips & I don't have much difference between waist & hips atm. But I think I was analyzed as carrot on here based on my measurements.

sorry I am unsubscribing; I am very disappointed that you do not really support plus size bodies. I went to purchase the boy short shapewear and none of the suggested items come in an appropriate dress 22 size which yes is large but not that large

Tips on dressing your own unique body type are great!

I'm a straight and for decades thought I was an apple. We tend to pick apart the part of us that bothers us the most.
@@AdoreYourWardrobe boy have you hit the nail on the head with this reply. 🤍

Not a lot of information on how to dress straight body type
We start with what your body's goal is ... I have other videos that show the items I would recommend.
@@AdoreYourWardrobewhere can I find those videos that show the items you recommend? Thx🙏

The Jockey Skimmies that I reccommended (they were the first boy shorts) are available in the longer length in size 22.
