Thank you for the kind comment David. Glad you got something out of the build and the video. Hope you enjoy building models yourself. I’ll have more videos coming soon. Enjoy!

Very nice project. You make it look easy. I will definitely use your approach to weathering on my own projects.

Thank you so much for the kind comment. Hopefully some of my techniques will be an inspiration for you to build on and make your projects even better than this one. Would love to see some of your work. Have fun and keep building!

Again, really cool to watch. Love all the added details and especially the mud. Even the fuel spill marks around the gas cap. I would have never thought of that. One question... What is a pin wash? Not being a modeller, I'm not familiar with the term.

Thanks Isobel. I’m glad you enjoyed watching the video. I’m sorry I didn’t explain better in the video about pin washes but it is a technique which uses highly diluted (thinned) paints applied to specific pinpoint (thus the name) details to accentuate them. For example into recessed panel lines on hatches to give them depth, or raised details to give a shadow effect which makes them stand out from the background. It’s all part of the illusion 😁
