I just found you on TH-cam the other day and have been really enjoying your videos. This one was super helpful for me, as I am troubleshooting some issues with my hoya. Also, thanks so much for the tidbit on propagating cacti in water… I never would have tried that!
I like these kind of videos…where you are troubleshooting and how you handle pests, root rot, etc. keep us updated on the Hoya propagations…especially the ones with root mealies and root rot! Thank you😜

Are you placing the fresh cuttings into your pon mixture before the presence of any roots? How has that gone for you? I've only ever water propagated them and now trying a prop box. I am new to your channel, and after watching a few I am a new subscriber. Thanks for your experience.
Are your props in pon in cups with holes or without?
I loveeeee your videos! I’m so surprised that you don’t have more followers! I hope they will come once they see how informative your videos are! I’m kinda confused your plant got root mealies if they’re in pon? 🤔 I’ve never used it before but I thought it wouldn’t have the same issues as soil!. I have to say though I always get so nervous when I see you handling your plants with pests and shuffling around or touching other plants. You have a huge expensive collection. You’re so nonchalant and don’t look too phased at all about it. Id be freaking out! 😱
Omg thank you so much!!! And yes, I think I have just gotten so used to owning plants and dealing with pests that I’ve come to realize that you can’t really own plants without having to also deal with pests!😝 As long as I can keep it under control, I’m not that worried about it.🥰

I didn’t know one of my Hoyas had root mealies and I watered a few of them in the shower and I’m assuming they spread that way - the water sharing being in the same tub as I’m
Using my shower head to “bath” and watering them. Ugh I had to cut all roots and reroot all 5 of them they are sooooooo hard - and how weird it was also my elliptica :(
Do you soak them in the water then using your PON mixture? Also watering your other plants when PON is dry? I'm really interested in the PON! I even have all your items in my Amazon cart lol!
I get it slightly wet to rinse off the extra dust particles before potting up my plants! I let most of my plants use up the entire water reservoir before watering again in my pon mix. Philodendrons I let run a little more dry before watering!
What camera do you use? I like the quality!

I found root mealies on my obovata yesterday 😩 It’s my first time getting them so hopefully I keep the obovata alive 🤞
