I never would have guessed that you would have so many toy stores & places to go in Vegas to hunt, but I absolutely love it. I always enjoy browsing stores like these, even if I'm not in the market for a lot of the product, I just love seeing it all. So many memories from my childhood and so many things that I even forgot existed. Super cool.
While there were a few vintage Star Wars items at a few of the shops, I didn't see too much that jumped out at me (but these days, it takes a lot...lol). Just a lot of the typical stuff it looked like. Still fun to see though.
When you were at the outdoor vendor market, I think I would have definitely picked up that 9.0 graded Empire Strikes Back comic book for $50. I love that cover and probably wouldn't have left that in the bin.
Gotta love the vintage SW coloring books. I have some of those in my collection as well & can vividly remember having them in my childhood and coloring many of the pages. Great memories.
Thanks for bringing us along with you on this hunt Joey. I had a great time checking it all out & seeing the highlights. 👍
Thanks Mopar! It was really fun going around the city and talking to a lot of collectors at these stores. I always like to see and hear what other collectors are hunting for. Maybe next time I’ll interview some people on their own hunts :). Thanks for leaving an awesome comment my friend
This was more like a documentary than just a toy hunt!!
As I live in the EU, it is almost impossible to visit these shops and see all the great items that they have for sale. Beautiful images, incredible collections of vintage toys, and lots of childhood memories!! Can't wait for EP 02!!!
Really glad that you enjoyed it bounty hunter!!
I've been to the Toy Shack when Johnny helped out the Pawn Shop. Never been to the Rogue Toys now that they help out the Pawn Shop. Didn't know they had a few locations. It's on my to do list 👌 Thanks for showing 👍
Thanks Scott! It’s definitely a fun place to go especially if you are starting out a collecting line :)
You definitely picked the right Brads toy shop in town. We have a few and this location definitely has the best selection of toys.
Thanks! It was definitely fun to go in and check it all out :).
Outstanding toy hunt. So many cool vintage items! Vegas is amazing!
Thanks Mike! It was a super fun time :)
great hunting and finds, bro.
Thanks Joe 🙌🏼
So many options to toy hunt!
Hey Dave! Yea it was overwhelming to see so many toys 🙌🏼
A great video for a great trip. I would like to go there too one day.
Hey Pascal! It’s def a fun city
Awesome toy hunt Joey and I like the way you present everything. I like the music and how you showed some price tags and you zoomed in and zoomed out and showed all kinds of things it's nice to see you do that once in a while
Thanks DMR! I’ll try to show more price tags and talk a little more next time :)
Love these type of videos! Keep them coming :)
Thanks Christopher! Will do 🙌🏼
Yoda, AT-AT Driver, and Chief Chirpa from the Brad's Toys clip are now in my collection. Fun fact: that used to be a Rite-Aid, I worked there in 1999
Hey Jared! I was wondering what that store used to be! It’s huge. Thanks for watching my friend
@@thepadawancollectorofficial you're welcome man, awesome video. I used to spend 8-10 hours a day in that building. I'm going to have to check out Rouge toys.
kudos to your toy hunt vlog sir very much appreciated it. I like the way you covered each toy store
Thanks Toink! I’m glad you enjoyed the video :)
Enjoyed it.
Thanks Mark!
i live in las vegas and you put me onto rogue toys on rainbow in your last vegas hunt, thank you haha
Hey Alex! Lol that’s awesome! Happy hunting and thanks for watching! 🙌🏼
Things that stood out were the Mego Mad Monsters ( I've still got 3 of the 4 they did, the Vampire went AWOL years ago) and the Shogun Warriors Godzilla that we never got in the UK.
Also the Micro Collection examples from the 80s, we never got THOSE either! 🤬😂
Hey Acro!! What?!? You guys never got those???
@@thepadawancollectorofficial No. Pathetic isn't it? We didn't get the Patrol Dewback either. 😔
At rogue toys, I picked up a potf era lobot, and dr. Evazan, an episode 2 c3po, an episode 3 mace windu, ane pisode 1 obi wan, and a pack of 5 figures called the endor ambush pack, which included endor han, wicket, logray, an endor trooper, and a scout trooper on scout bike, and at toy shack, I picked up an original trilogy collection dagobah luke, an episode 1 c3po, a potf era lando in skiff guard disguise, and rebel trooper, and I picked up an episode 2 anakin skywalker and darth tyranus, great video!
Sounds like you had a great hunt Samantha! Awesome pickups! Vegas is one of my favorite places to toy hunt
Nice to travel along with you Joey and peep some of these vintage collectible goodies... you never know what long lost item is gonna sweep you into a nostalgic glaze! The consignment shops can definitely have something ultra rare but ultimately have higher prices and wont haggle prices because the owners aren't around. The regular shops seem to be out in full force around Vegas. Don't really care for POPS but my wife does collect a few, and they unequivocally have kept toy stores alive IMHO over the last 10 to 15 years! Whatever keeps the spirit of collecting alive! Pawn Stars for the win!
Hey Frak! Omg I have never seen more Funko pops in my life! If someone has managed to collect them all, I want to meet that person and see their collection lol! Thanks for watching my friend
Mman! I WISH I had lunch money for that trip! [gasp!]
I would be alot like Rodney Dangerfield from Caddyshack in those shops.
"I'll take two, o' those, six o' these .."
It would be fun just to look, though.
I saw alot of great prices out there.
$5 for a chinese takeout box full of LEGOs. :) Lovit
Thanks so much for doing this
Thanks for the video
Next time, take me with you.
I eat light. :)
Let’s Go T! It’s fun to just hunt and search thru those stores. I was there a few weeks before with the kids so I had seen some stuff but Two shops were def new to me
Cool 😎 after watching this episode i want to go to Las Vegas 😂
Hey Marco! Its def a fun city
Those are good stores. Rogue Toys on Eastern is the closest one to my house although WiiPlay Games on Nellis is starting to have more toys in it now and is even closer.
Brad used to have a shop on Boulder Highway south of my place. It moved to Galleria Mall. I sold a few toys to him a few years ago.
The antique malls and thrift stores here have some occasional gems. There's also Fantastics Swap Meet which has a booth that I've got some good deals from. Got my Ralph Mcquarrie R2D2 and C3PO and Stormtroopers there for example.
Good video!
I’ll have to go to WiiPlay and the swap meets for sure! Thanks for the suggestions 🙌🏼
You bet!
@@thepadawancollectorofficial
I would love to do this run one day !! Expensive from the UK though !!
It’s definitely a fun city
Great videos Do have a modern 3.75 check list like the vintage one?
Hi Jose! You can modify the vintage checklist to create a modern one, but I will be making one
@@thepadawancollectorofficial am not that good with a computer so I will wait for one.
Not a lot of loose Kenner Star Wars figures really. Kind of expected to see a better selection.
I have to agree on that. The selection of loose and complete left more to be desired. Thanks for watching the hunt my friend
@@thepadawancollectorofficialThey sometimes have more loose ones that arent on display and will get them out if you ask. Display space is tight in these small shops.
They don't have any toy store 's here in San Jose CA
Hey Monica! What!?!? I’ve never been toy hunting there but I imagine there are some hidden gems
Just want to get your honest opinion sir would you consider the power of the force line of 1995 as classic kenner star wars?
Hey Han! I consider “classic” Star Wars figures to be the ones produced by Kenner from 1977 to 1985. When Hasbro took over the license and made POTF 2, those are still great collectibles, but I wouldn’t consider them classic.
@@thepadawancollectorofficial thank you sir
So did you buy anything?
I bought a vintage coloring book and a couple things for the kids.
@@thepadawancollectorofficialthe coloring books are cool. I photocopy pages in them and color the copies in case I ever want to sell the book.
....... did you buy anything?
Hey Card! I bought a vintage coloring book, some Ahsoka Tano keychains, and I was going to buy a vintage tie fighter but decided not to. I was mainly looking for vintage playsets but didn’t find any that caught my eye
