I was in 8th grade. We had the cassette tape. My mom would find it and throw it away, and we'd just go buy it again. I am 40 years old and I still listen to this album, like to an obsessive degree. It's my number 3 best album of all time. The whole album is a masterpiece.

Really hope you do Clash Of The Titans by Krayzie. It uses the Rap God beat, and for the most part the song is aimed at those that try to copy Bone's style. His song Assassin is pretty brutal, and lyrically the subject is similar to Clash Of The Titans because he shits all over a lot of modern rappers. Krayzie and Bizzy both have a lot of solo stuff worth checking out, and along with Bone songs I could make a huge list of songs worth checking out.
Oh if you want another group worth checking out, Cypress Hill. I'm not gonna list any specific songs, because personally I feel you can't go wrong with anything from them.

I have been a Bone fan since the first song was released. In my early 20s I was a car salesman. Had to drive to Cleveland to get a car from the Nissan lot there. Before the days of GPS on every phone I had a map quest printout of the directions to the dealership but I got turned around. I realized I had found my way to the hood but then I started watching street signs. I was on East 1995 Street and instantly knew that I would soon be on East 1999 street which is the street their first successful album was named after. I did not know if I was scared shitless or excited to be there lol
