@ would agree, they can be hit and miss, the German Trick or Treat Blu Ray is lacking in any extras and the audio isn’t that great, hopefully a UK company such as 88 Films, Indicator, Eureka, Treasured Films or Arrow pick this title up at some point for a UK release.

It's highly annoying when these long-awaited titles are suddenly announced for pre-order without any prior notice but the scalpers get there first and here's hoping against all odds that Synapse perhaps press more copies.🤔 Tbh, it's moments like this when I feel like giving up film collecting altogether and as the great Arthur Daley once said "What a comfortin' fawt. One is not alone in one's sufferin'." I feel your pain, my friend.😞

I really wanted Slipcase B, the one with the redder background but I'd rather have B than not at all.

Went through the same hunt as you. It’s going for crazy cash on EBay- over £200 off scalpers - but they can get f’d. Mid level Media has all 3 cover editions but he’s based in the states. Tbh Nige, I’m not going to lose any sleep over it. Hopefully we get someone like Arrow or SS giving us a UK edition 🤞🏻🤷♂️😄

Like you I did exactly the same, waiting for the countdown on synapse to go down then the website crashed after about an hour of trying got in to find out US and Canada only then shot across to Diabolik and it was already gone!!! Totally gutted mate, worst of it is it wasn’t 666 copies it was 6066 copies so a lot more would of been scalped 2022 copies of each variant! Just variant B on synapses website left 🤦🏻♂️

The retail price sounds like the company are scalping, too. They might do a second edition if enough of you complain, like what Maiden did with the biscuit tin box. Don't pay them bastard scalpers and hope you eventually get one. I remember seeing the movie at the cinema with Bad News as a double bill. Still got the soundtrack on vinyl as well.

It looks a really nice edition from synapse nige. But when was the last time you watched it ?. I got a gorgeous mediabook blu ray titled Ragman a couple of yrs back and unbelievably I didn’t rent it when it came on vhs around 87 and so had never previously seen it. I really cannot understand the hype with trick or treat , it’s really overrated in my opinion and quite boring and cheesy . There’s no gore and the fx is really dated. I can only guess the reason most are into it is because of the rock music soundtrack?.. but as for the film itself I just don’t get why it is so popular 😂.. … but hey that’s just my opinion mate and I would be really pissed at not being able to get my hands on such a lovely release … if I rated the film. Good look trying to find it at a decent price anyway nige👍.

Available on a German Blu Ray with the title Ragman and it’s only around £10/£15.
I really don't like German releases, I've had a couple of dodgy experiences. Plus this is a gorgeous 4K set.
