The one Robbie had was the Player Version of the kit thats why the Adidas logo and Badge was heat transferred. The one for his son was the replica which bring the badge and logo Embroidered.

The reason for the differences in prints between your shirt and your son's shirt are you have the authentic Arsenal Jersey which the players wear onto the pitch which explains the tapered fit and heat transferred logos.
The child's top is a replica top (you can get adult replicas too) which have a straighter fit and embroidered stripes and logos.
