Hats off to you Bugoy for standing up as a father. Pero I have a problem... Regardless kung sino nagkagusto, dapat hindi ka pa rin pinatulan ng partner mo when you were a minor. If the gender roles were reversed, nagkagusto yung mas batang babae sa mas matandang lalaki, at pinatulan siya, iba ang tingin ng mga tao at hindi magiging lenient ang batas.

Exactly my thoughts. He was groomed. Maraming tao ang blind sa fact na ito, or rather nagpipikit mata nalang just because pinanagutan ni Bugoy ang bata and they're a 'happy family'. Hindi si Bugoy ang dapat magkaso, kundi ang mga magulang nya dahil minor sya. Pero syempre hindi gagawin ng mga magulang nya yun dahil conservative ang Pilipinas, at kanila yung lalaki kahit pa na-groom sya. Hindi nakikialam ang mga tao sa inyo. We're calling out behavior that is frankly disgusting pero pinagkikibit balikat lang ng marami.
I don't condone this pero baka dahil babae si EJ kaya sobra yung response. Remember Asistio and Nadia Montenegro? Classic case of grooming and sobrang wide ng gap. Pati si Revilla Sr. and yung isa sa mga mistress nya na teenager lang ng nakuha nya. And so much more. But since we live in a patriarchal society kaya yung mga groomers na yan ay nasa politics o kaya deemed as macho, nakakabingwit pa ng mga teenagers. Ang teenage years to mid twenties, yan yung times na gusto natin ma-explore ang lahat, gawin ang lahat. Mga age na wala pa sa skillset ang pagiging isang magulang.
