@@tafino yep it’s rifled. It’s an H&R cap/shur 32 gauge tranquilizer gun. Without the adapter for .22 blanks inserted, it’s just a 32 gauge with a rifled barrel. It’s basically an ultra slug but in 32 gauge instead of 12 or 20.
Just dollar store wrapping paper just make sure it has the grid on the back most of the solid colors do some of the one with patterns do not hope this helps thanks for watching
Save that 35 Rem brass and roll your own, surprised you don't already. That would definitely be 1 of the examples of hand loading saving you a significant amount of money.
I load 35 remington. Cant afford to shoot it if i didnt load my own. Bought a load of new and once fired brass and bullets from a fella in Ky last year. @theshotgunscientists
That's good performance for an off the wall projectile. Now you need to find a swaging die to get them to the right diameter. Maybe Lee precision or night owl engineering
They need squished flat, they’re like .45 out of the bag. I should have been more clear about that in the video lol. A vice would be ideal, quick and easy.
@@samwilliams1142 that’s effective 28 gauge. Standard 28 gauge bore is .55 but it can go a little bigger or a little smaller just like 12 and 16 gauge commonly are.
2 ounce egg sinkers just squish them down to .780 and use an x10x fiber wadding and a nitro card. Follow 2 ounce data. They hit like a freight train but loose accuracy past about 40 yards because they tumble.
May I make a Suggestion ? Instead of using Channel locks, How about a Sizing Die in.51 cal. Get a drill bit closest to that size (.51 ) drilling and piece of T6 or Mild steel and size up a bunch @theshotgunscientists
I love you guys, but you screwed up. This would have been a perfect Easter episode.... maybe letting the Fam paint some of the "eggs"....😋
You’re right dang lol maybe we can do it again for 12 gauge
Feels like some zombie apocalypse type load. Great video bud!
Rifled 32 gauge? Did I hear that right ?
I asked myself the same thing

Sure is
Ever see the old iraqvetern8888 video were the used an egg sinker and screwed it to the wad with a drywall screw kinda like a brenneke
Yep we’ve done that many many times
Feeling pretty warm... our high here in central Florida yesterday was 45 degrees.
I think starting tomorrow it’s gonna start being a fuzz warmer here for a good bit
What paper do you use for your targets?

Yep as Josh said just wrapping paper from family dollar

We save all the brass we shoot, I’ve got a Lee turret press just itching to be used lol.
@@theshotgunscientists thought y'all already reloaded metallic some too. Either way, 35 rem is a good one to do it with!
@@joearledge I never have but Josh has quite a bit

Crisp 20° here with about 12 to 14 in of snow overall.
That’s not too far off from what we’ve had here

A .535 blunderbuss would be about 30 gauge?
Maybe 31 gauge. Bore diameter of a standard 32 gauge is .526 but the rifled h&r’s are just .50 cal .505 bore
Thanks I have the bullet molds for 54. And was curious about a 54 smooth bore. Especially if I find a flintlock cheap.

Size and load for a 10 gauge?

@@theshotgunscientists sounds like a good video for your next installment with a range test!
I'm apologizing in advance.I'm old and don't get out much. But those egg sinkers make eggcelent projectiles😢
That they do lol

Next up, tungsten drop shot 😂
Actually tss is likely completely doable in both 32 and 24 gauge. Turns out someone is making wads for both for tss.
Sent you a msg..loads im working on...wanted your opinion. Maybe stuff you could try.12 and 16g
Great vid...you have more snow then we do lol😂
Cool I’ll check it out man
foot prints are😂😂
I got a good laugh out of it too lol
