Love the original, yet this kind of thing holds a special place on the shelf - the poetic license to convey the same feeling can be difficult to pull off. I recently had this kind of experience having to defend lyrical creative license: It's better to share something fresh that pulls it off than go mad making it "perfect". Absolutely worth sharing with friends. =)

Though completely redoing the instrumentals and choir sections would be a bit time-consuming, so I get it. 8/10, magnificent.
