Ben, otherwise known as Hartnett Media, is one of the very best cinematographers in the car world (at least we think so!). Working across the globe with a JDM focus, we got to know Ben's approach, filming gear, and experiences shooting for F1 teams and travelling the US, Japan and Middle East as a creative.

Thank you Nick & Tom for interviewing Ben. It was a great interview so nice of you to observe what I have got to see him do for many years. He also won a media award for his sailing work (Sailing Shack on YT) and competed at an international level. He is too humble to say these things but as his dad I can brag. Ha!

Just wanted to appreciate you for getting Ben on your podcast. One of the reasons I started filming cars here in Sydney. Crazy how he could create bangers after bangers with in an A7sii and ronin M for years when the whole world had upgraded to the latest gear.

Yea Im also curious how he manages to get so smooth shots. I have the ronin rs2 but cant get shots as smooth. maybe he slows the footage and adds post stabilzation?
