I prefer the dub mostley because what they are actually saying is much clearer and you can understand it better. The voice acting in both are pretty good tho.

Deku's sub voice is good but dub just feels iconic. I feel like almost everyone has heard his dub voice. An important thing to rememeber is that usually, whichever one you watch/hear first will most likely be your favorite. Thats just how our brain works, you like whats familiar and what you're used to, so just keep that in mind

Honestly. Both Sub and Dub nail this show. I usually enjoy dubs if they are done by good dub studio’s, but usually when Funimation is dubbing an anime is when I watch dubs more.
I agree with the deku voice acting, his speaking voice in dub fits him so well, but the subs raw emotion and screams just hit so much better. This is coming from a dub watcher
usually for anime its sub for me. But I actually really like the MHA dub. maybe if i was fluent in Japanese I would like it always because the performances are great but I find it is actually the sub titles that dont hit or isnt as well suited and the dub sometimes takes some creative control and makes it better in that regard. Prime example for me is AFO v All Might when Endeavor shows up

I normally say Bakugou's dub voice is superior, but that scene in particular? Sub CRUSHED it. The voice cracks and the crying just hits.

He does have a really good voice actor! Pretty much a tie for me
I'm sorry but the dub is *objectively* better. The sub has no emotion in it. All the lines are clumsy broken Ingrish that have *too many* words that don't fit properly and are either too flat or too high-pitched to fit the situation. The Japanese voices sound phoned-in while the English has a ton of heart put into it. I'm saying this as someone who watches or has watched a number of anime in *both* languages and MHA is just one of those ones where the dub is better. An example of where the sub (and subsequent original Japanese) is better would be One Punch man. One piece is hard for me to decide on. The Japanese voice acting in it is good but the current arc's subtitles are inconsistent with how they were done in past arcs and are just not very good. JJBA I can't even decide on. Both versions are great. Just my 2 cents on the topic.
