    Great video, Brad!
In 25:55, I believe the error occured when you tried to also delete b, since b still had relationships with entities other than "Jill".

"Jack is friends with other people, but people are not friends with Jack."
"Jill is married to Jack, so we have to delete those relationships."
"Let's take a look at Jill. She's by herself, no relationships."
I feel sorry for them. :(

Definitely great video. In just 29 minutes of video I understood the main principle about graph databases and neo4j. Thank you.

I have been listening to your videos from last few days.....they are amazing and easy to understand. I was also looking for something on the Graph databases and bang....you came up with this session. It is really good....would like to see more on Cypher & Gremlin

Excellent thank you very much I thought you presentation was brilliant and very informative I have just looked at your preliminary course and wondered of you do any more advanced courses on neo4j If so could you please let me know and @ what price Could you also possibly outline what advanced topics you might be discussing with such a course
I'm also extremely interested in how you would go about transforming a relational database to that of a graph database and how for example you would , lets say for example take a typical company sales database , stock database to transform a bar code reader scenario to that of neo4j I
In perhaps another example of perhaps blob and map co ordinates with image of map implement this in Neo4J
With reference to further questions and in direct association with relational databases by comparison , you mention the use of relationships being of directional standing How for example would you represent one to many , many to one , one to one , many to many with update cascade and delete cascade operations
These are some of the topics that Id like to see discussed possibly the what you can do's from the what is not possibles with alternative work around to provide such solutions which I'm hoping would be possible These might be integrated with other interfaces such that relative informations such as blobs , bard codes etc which are now playing vital roles could be displayed in graphical contexts
As a further questions regarding this topic what are the interaction possibilities with other languages and how would courses evolve regards further enhancements of neo4j as back-ends to problem solving Encryption etc etc
Would you be able to for example utilize neo4j and populate this with lets say data from senors in embedded environments and provide automated solutions from this I'm thinking here as an example the use of touch screens creation in your example a person mapping relations with expansion to other data
So my thoughts might be side bar for creation initial objects then drag and drop objects onto a pallet then through interactive menus creating a relationship between objects then defining that relation ship through perhaps touch relationship as an event driven model and providing require details of that relationship
This is where i see neo4j being of significant advantage and far more user friendly with regards strategy and planing and analysis of data in real-time across multiple networks
Lets say for example you might be providing a lecture across multiple networks and so what you would do with also perhaps audience in front of you , would be to have a touch screen display display , this being opaque , and where you might wish to demonstrate structures of various type and so would plot an object on screen
    Scenario example ::
"Tap " , your circle is created " , tap that circle again then name your object through means of a pop up screen You would then be able to give the object properties Repeat that process and we have another object then using lets say a , "drag event" , you might be able to draw the relationship from one object to another providing of course direction in the process Perhaps another tap event on the relation just drawn and providing this with suitable naming and criteria
This type of scenario could be prove to be very useful in the world of AV and defense systems
Thanking you for you information thus far
Very interesting to date and looking forward to your answers or discussions reference my questions and equally some ideas I'm currently thinking about

You couldn't delete a, b, r with one command because, b are other nodes which are connected through r (in this case the nodes of the Movie she watched and Jack which she is married to) with their own relations to other nodes. the command delete r, a should work tho (in theory, because you only delete jill and her relations) 25:59

When I follow your step to create a dot, there is always an error: Invalid input '(': expected whitespace, comment, NodeLabel, Mapliteral, a parameter, ')' or a relationship pattern . Please help me fix this.

I'm wondering why the db size increased after the deleting a node. Compare 26:13 and 26:35

Hello. I really wanted to watch your course, but unfortunately there is no translation into Russian! Therefore, it is better to post the course on TH-cam, at least there is a translation of the titles here.
