Thanks so much Techn' Moto! My husband passed way 9 months ago. He always inspired me by how smart he was when it came to maintenance and repair of cars. My car manual said to do my 60K maintenance on my 2009 Elantra which included the cabin filter and the engine filter. (Yes, I only have 60K on my car. I am truly the little old lady from Pasadena!) You made it look so easy that I ordered the parts from Amazon and did it myself. My husband would be proud! The car manual also recommends replacing the spark plugs and fuel filter....which I would not do myself. It runs great!. Do you think it is necessary to do both the spark plugs and fuel filter...or should I wait?
Sorry for your loss. On the plugs I can honestly say I would wait till about 100k miles. That’s what I did with mine. Of course that’s just my opinion. P.S. I’m sure your husband is proud of you 👍
I inherited my stepdad's car and it has a stink that I'm hoping will go away with a new cabin air filter. I've never had a vehicle with a glove box piece like that. Thanks for the lesson!
THANK YOU. I went to get an oil change, they found everything wrong w my car.. apparently I had no air filter. He was charging nearly $70 CAD, again Thank you!
