Soon I will have one. I got on from 66 and it's only been shot 20 times. The backstory is interesting too! A Vietnam vet was trying to take it with him to be his sidearm but the government wouldn't let him, so it sat in a safe for over 50 years. I was very lucky to get this one. As soon as I saw it I fell in love. Lol You are right the Python is just like a beautiful woman. I much rather have the 4-inch then the 6-inch though. I had a few opportunities to buy a few in 6-inch but I don't know just never felt right.
Thank ya! Your videos made me get this one out. I should get them out more often. I plan on doing videos on them when I can. I don't get to my vault as often as I should. Your videos pushed me to it and I thank ya for that :)
1. I had it reblued by the Colt Custom Shop who did a "Mirror Brite" and a "Double-Dip" in Colt Royal Blue. I WISH I had a 3". I wish I had a Python Hunter package. I have a 2 1/2" thats new in box. I have an 8" Python thats a shooter - VERY accurate. Its Royal Blue as well. I liked Colt's Royal Blue the best of all handgun finishes :) Its the original blue case. My lighting and camera sucks. I think those cases came out in the early 80's. I have some that were sold in cardboard and styrofoam
How long ago did u have the Python reblued? Do u have a three inch version in ur collection? Do u own a Python that u actually shoot? Is that the original blue case? It looks black.
Hahahaha. Duhhhhhh!!! What a knit-picker! :) Oh and Liar is spelled with an "a", not an "e". I'd normally not point such things out, but since we're splitting hairs...... :D

I think so to. The six-inch version in Royal Blue is my favorite handgun ever :)
