The White Night trailer for Penacony literally shows Sam with wings and sparkles that are the same colour as Firefly's highlights. Also, their colour schemes are overall extremely similar and Sam literally uses fire to attack, whilst Firefly is quite literally called Firefly, amongst other things such as Firefly's dialogue on the rooftop and the fact that Sam didn't target us in that one cutscene in 2.0, and only targeted Black Swan and Acheron. The answer has been there all along to anyone who actually paid attention / thought for a second. I dont think leaks have anything to do with it.

"Sam" tried acting all menacingly in front of Acheron, but the facade fell through the moment he said he would kill "everyone", everyone except mentioning the Nameless Trailblazer. Hinting that, the person behind, "Sam", knows 'em, and wishes no harm to him/her.
Acheron isn't even included in the foreseen future despite what she has already contributed. She is a damn Anomaly that was not planned to appear at all.
Or she was not planned to have a big part in the scheme Elio has, either because it doesn't contemplate her presence to fulfill it or because she will not get to live by that point, as self annihilators are destined to fade. Let's hope it doesn't get as grim.

JP Sam is polite, gentlemanly, and somehow feminine, though. So I immediately knew that Sam is Firefly when he first spoke to Acheron. They basically have the same manner of speaking and intonation. And I also recall people saying the same for CN and KR. EN on other hand makes Sam and Firefly sound like two different entities altogether. One is cold-blooded murderer, and the other is a sweet girl.

Silverwolf was with her in Penacony, so perhaps it was a bit of her doing with her teleporrs and holograms or something that is enough to fool Acheron and Black Swan for that moment.

I’m thinking Sam might actually be duke inferno since they both wish to die and burn into ash, follow the path of destruction and are both fire characters. I’m thinking Acheron tried to kill duke but he survived severely injured wearing Sam’s armour to keep himself alive. I now believe he definitely isn’t firefly since firefly had many dreams and was afraid of the real world while Sam states he was born without the ability to dream and even elio confirms Sam is a man

@@Mrwaffle7843 In other languages his voice is calm, sad, and intelligent. It's as if Firefly is speaking, only with a different timbre. But in English he wheezes and drawls out his words like some kind of clichéd villain. This is not the first time I have noticed that Hoyovers does not prepare English voice actors well and does not try to bring different localizations to a single sound.
I agree, literally shocked hearing Sam's EN Voice. Though I like his voice and the intonations he made, his character comes off so different with say JP Voice.
In JP he talks so calmly and in a very respectful manner even with his enemies, yet in EN I just hear typical robot alien villain ready to destroy shits
Meh. To me, he’s good. The mechanical tone of the voice is pretty much generic to other languages.
