When l accepted Islam l remember the advice from the brothers regarding my non Muslim parents. They said there are usually 3 stages. First, they will oppose you, stay steadfast on the Deen, second they will respect me, thirdly inshaa Allah they will follow you. I have experienced the first 2 stages, however no one in my family has accepted Islam yet

It was a recent terms by new converts, to seperate them from other conversion to any religion. I believe its from the hadith of fitrah, that all child is born as fitrah(innate nature of believing in God/Higher Power) Anyway, some people carry around the title revert for too long, should have just identified as muslim like eveyone else Maybe because they feel deficiency in knowledge, but many reverts actually have deeper understanding of islam or maybe they just proud of the fact that they choose islam over anything else, which is good

It was a recent terms by new converts, to seperate them from other conversion to any religion.
I believe its from the hadith of fitrah, that all child is born as fitrah(innate nature of believing in God/Higher Power)
Anyway, some people carry around the title revert for too long, should have just identified as muslim like eveyone else
Maybe because they feel deficiency in knowledge, but many reverts actually have deeper understanding of islam or maybe they just proud of the fact that they choose islam over anything else, which is good
