The event lap props are a game changer. I've always wanted to make my own amazing driving roads on event lab Island. Now i can. And ofcourse we can build racetracks properly too now.

I wouldn't mind Formula E, but in a game like Forza Horizon, they would've struggled due to low top speed.

Crockett in Miami Vice had a black Daytona Spyder (the prop car was a replica) at first and then later got a Testarossa in white (this was an actual Ferrari).
for retrowave, the "retro sports cars" category goes past 2005 and the s197 mustang before the facelift still isnt in the game and it was popular for its "retro futurism" styling. and they got a lot of support behind the last 2 mustangs added. only reason i cant see this happening it cause theyve done 2 mustangs just now and i highly doubt they would do another only a month and a half after.
I don't understand how we've got like 30 different Mustangs in the game yet are still lacking a regular S197 GT.

As much as I want them to say to come to fruition for the location of FH6 but until they actually come out and say it or until a teaser trailer or a trailer of some sort I'm not gonna believe it

Definitely looking forward to Series 34 a lot more than this - I'm not a big fan of fast, race/drag cars at all really, although I'll definitely be getting that new (free) Porche!
I much prefer older, slower and classic stuff, so a series dedicated to being retro is gonna be the best series yet, for me at least! Plus it will hopefully mean we'll get some more casual cars which in my opinion we need more of...

Since the next update is going to be all about retrowave and retro stuff, I would love to see the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech and the Chryslus Rocket 69 that were feature on Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Motorsport 6 respectively. It really would be awesome to see them being added back. I know a lot of people don't like these fictional cars but I love them. And in my opinion it would fit the update theme.
I totally get this car pack as being a homage to the FH3 Allstars pack, but with more interesting racers. I might just be tempted! Love the time attack Evo and Prostock and the new asphalt props may get me into building some race circuits at long last. Retro makes me think of classic cars so I hope that’s the case. Interesting the HW Camaro and Porsche racers are plain clothes not the previous liveries.
Thinking on, I haven’t had a proper Prostock drag car in a game since Gran Turismo 2!
All these race cars are really gonna give this game horizon 3 vibes

Thanks Ericship any ETA on the price of the new car park ? - love the additions of the free road / road sections for Horizon 5; can build some good tracks with some good junctions; wished they added this sooner, may need to amend some of my Event Lab creations.
USD $9.99 / GBP £7.99 / EUR €9.99 and the car pack should be live right after the game updates tomorrow.
I definitely want to see a tuner car pack. That would be awesome 👌🏼 especially with cars who have cool aftermarket support to make them standout above the rest.
I can't wait for the Evo and the RSR! Also can't wait to see what tracks that people come up with now that we FINALLY have proper road surfaces in the editor.

I'm honestly excited about this. I've wanted full fledged racecars in this game for a while and now we have them. Hopefully we can get more bodykits to convert some cars into their racing variants like the IMSA bodykit for the Trans Am or the GTD bodykit for the new Mustang.
I absolutelly love this update! I've always liked driving race cars on the road, irl is so fun and i'm always happy to get more in Forza Horizon, i'm just a bit sad that the AMG GT3 and 488 GTE are in the car pack because i'd love to have them
its good that we got a new mitsubishi evo, I'm a bit sad that we didn't get more drag cars
for the retrowave update we could either get pre 1980s cars or cars from any retro game, the radio station could be retro pop music

As someone who plays fh5 on Xbox one i was able to get the eray by playing motorsport if you have game pass ultimate you can literally play it on Xbox one with Xcloud

I’m really waiting for the Porsche 911 rsr since I’m only 12 and can’t buy the Motorsport car pack so I’m waiting till spring comes in the festival playlist besides I’m a really big Motorsport so I yeeted all across the map just to find out I didn’t have enough festival points for the corvette so I just left it alone and now “patiently” 🤥 till spring season 😒😒🙏

Personally not a big fan of race cars because I like to build something of my own but I'm still curious to try them of course.
when are we getting a WRC and WRX update to get stuff like the toyota gr yaris and the I40 for hyundai mobis rally and maybe some more rally expansion.
I am exited bit am also slightly disappointed that we didn’t get the Volvo 850 BTCC race car
This update is not what I expected but at least there aren't evs in here for the retrowave I expect some cars from the 80s like the Countach 25th Anniversary or the R107 Mercedes Benz SL or the R129 Mercedes Benz SL aswell as the BMW M5 Touring E34 or the M3 E30 Cabriolet or a 1989 911 Speedster

I’m a big fan of Motorsport/racing in general, I was hoping for the car pack to have a correlation with IMSA or WEC, but I’m still happy with what playground games had given us regardless. Definitely gonna get that ford gt LM when this update arrives.

I feel like the Retrowave update is basically their own version of The Crew 2 Season 9 Episode 2.
You KNOW people are going to go absolutely INSANE with the new props, and building absolutely CRAZY tracks. The creative minds we have in this generation, always blow me away. Can't wait to see what gets featured for the playlist event lab tracks. Also, I am SUPER glad they are doing the Racing Cars from Forza Horizon 3, I feel that is such a major throwback to that game, and I give respect to that.
nvm the evo and camaro takes the cake for me😂. Though most of the racing cars are recycled, i never really got to drive them cuz i dont play motorsport but to drive em in horizon is fine with me👏👏

@@Mad_Medz Yeah, but the lack of road cars such as the Shelby 1000 makes me not excited about this update. I hope we see road cars return in the next update. Also, no NASCAR or any stock race cars this update, which makes me even less. update.
I havent played in over a year. So no racing versions of the audi R8 or the nissan gtr? i would mention the hurracan but maybe FH5 already has that? I do miss the game a tad, but all of the festival exclusives I missed out on just make me not come back tbh

I'm so hyped for that retro music station. All of the soundtrack we currently have is from only one 2010+ era with few exceptions (excluding classical music). This would be something I always needed in this game!

I wanna see the two daytona prototypes from motorsport 6 come into horizon, the Chevy konica minolta, and the Ford Chip ganassi, also there's still cars we're missing from horizon 1, that I want to see come back mainly the 2 gumpert apollos, the ssc ultimate aero, and the koenigsegg ccx-r.
I would love to drive the c8r. The sound could be amazing
