for all these people who think boxing, or any martial art is boring, something is wrong with you, because I love this! for me, he shouldn't have to worry about a vidioes being to long. i'm just learning all I can so please dont say anything about the vidioes being to long cecause this stuf is for free, so enjoy what he has to offer! I love his vidioes. feel free to share this this with everyone. I study boxing, American Kempo Karate and BJJ so I love this stuf. tell him to keep up the good work and put as long vidioes!
I am a martial artist and an instructor and I find your videos excellent. Anyone partipating in any combat sport can integrate what you teach into their discipline. Great job of breaking down the important aspects of fighting!
I like many of your subscribers have learned countless techniques, training methods, and drilling methods through watching you. As a fighter inbetween gyms I'm thankful for your "long" videos. Fighting is something that can't be rushed, the consequences are far more serious than other sports.
this is one is pure gold, really, if you begin with sparring , you know how to hit, but you don't know how to not get hit. this drill teaches you watched it like 10 times
i swear you put out the perfect shit within an hour or two before i train so often it's wild. as for people who think the vids are too long? youtube has spoiled the world hahaha, if they only knew how long it took for people to learn shit even a decade ago, before all these vids with killer coaches became abundant.
+Precision Striking i think some people watch too many of your videos at once. i can watch all day but i can only absorb so much. i like to watch one long video or 2 of your shorter videos a day so i can take in the information and process it analyze how to utilize the new stuff i learned before i shadow box
Quality lesson. Started doing this regularly and can feel the improvement already. Haven't had the opportunity to take it to sparring yet but looking forward to it. Thanks.
This is literally one of the best videos I've ever seen.. and I've watched a LOT of years in boxing footage and online coaching. I cannot thank you enough for this one, and your doubling up one that you just dropped too. Anyone who complains about a videos length doesn't truly want it, and that person doesn't deserve the shortened one. Keep up what you're doing, and I always appreciate the help coach. 🙏
I've been doing martial arts for over two years and these vids literally are the catalyst to mastering techniques, JT knows his shit. Make sure you listen!
I cannot believe that anyone could think these videos are long and boring. I think this is the best boxing instructional channel on youtube. Keep up the great videos :-)
"You're videos are too long and too boring" JT - my honest opinion is your videos are too short. Don't know how anyone could find them too long or too boring. If they think that they don't have the patience for boxing anyway. I'd love more details on a lot of the things you talk about.
Your vids are the best teaching tool you can find online by far ! ! People who say that they are boring have problems with their attention span. Please keep doing what you are doing. I have been boxing for about a year now after 10 years of karate and kickboxing. Your vids help me preparing for a training and setting a goal for my training. You vids are a great addition to my training!
This is the best boxing Chanel and best coaching drills. I’ve been doing these kinda drills for almost 2 years now. I saw an 60% increase in my boxing in the first 3 months working this all through First faze of COVID starting with the “shifting creating angle video. Followed by “Synchronizing your punch” and other foot work drill. The Canelo free style drill. I worked on the footwork shift and faint shift drills separately in the beginning, my body started moving better into a flow state so I then moved in to “lateral movement”. I make a conscious effort to work them. Amazing Chanel. 🤙
Man who are these people who dislike this video??? I don’t understand how people are getting all these high quality teaching for free and still dislike??? But I guess that is how the world is. Anywho, great video . One of your best videos.
From Sweden thank you so much! Absolutely incredible, your videos has helped me so much, I don't think u understand. This video is genius, your preference of style is sweet science at its finest. Poetry in motion. Started sparring last week and your lessons gave me a huge advantage. Blessings brother!
Dear Sir there is a slight difference in footwork than bobbing an weaving, ducking ad slipping! If you want to get great at foot work do Ball room dancing! You can thank me for the free tip later! o7trainingsys.com
Always inspiring as usual. I'm 5.5 ft. This has cleared my doubt on how to create an enter when fighting an opponent bigger and taller than me. Your channel helps a lot. Thanks man.
Since I picked up boxing as a form of fitness I have watched a lot of TH-cam videos and content creators looking for fundamental advice and info. Your videos are by far the most in depth and instructive videos I’ve found. You rock man. The longer videos are long for a reason, and it’s to piece together the training and give the user building blocks to become fundamentally sound. Your instruction has helped me tremendously. I never had any personal 1on1 training and since I’ve been implementing your drills and training into my workouts I’ve had people come up and ask me where I’ve trained and if I’m a MMA guy or amateur boxer. Crazy! Though I’ve never met you, you are my coach 💯 Thank you!
Your videos are NOT too long or too boring. I find them a tad bit on the short side, but I watch and soak up knowledge like a sponge. I like your teaching style
I like the way you are talking about boxing: - simple - easy (understandable) - straight (no bulshit, honest) Just keep doing it. Thanks for the good tips & video's. All the best from Hungary with some Transylvanian roots! :D
Always a pleasure taking pointers from your video's. You are an excellent coach man, thank you for being so generous with sharing your insights and knowledge. stay blessed!!
seriously bro!! Ur videos are THE best for boxing on TH-cam!!! I learn so much propper stuff from u. I wish u the best in ur endevours. Good Karma coming to u bro!
Thank you very much for this video. it was JUST what i needed. Coach always tells me in too stiff and stand still a lot of the times. This video made me realise my mistakes. And most my opponents at my gym are taller than me, i need to learn to constantly move and get in closer. Thank you once again!
Ahhhh bro I've been trying to understand what rhythm is for so long. I thought it was just changing your timing on the enter with fients. But now I see its having a set movement pattern that acts as a feint and defense from which u enter and change up your timing on. This feels as like as big a breakthrough as when I figured out how and why to use feints. This is the efficient version of what Dominick Cruz does with his hopping crouches and lateral movement. You are a amazing teacher. Thank you...
You have de best channel of boxing, you give us a lot of awesome drills and improvments, you helpd me a lot with my boxing growth, and now i can teach other people with what i have learnd from you, because your help make me lear with my self, and i am getting better more and more with your great videos and hint's. Thank you and congratulations for your channel and your boxing.
Excellent clear video. Young kids are very lucky to have such information available to them. When I was eleven all I had available to me was one book in the school library. I think I was one of the lucky ones. Keep up the good work. You don't know what positive influence you may have on younger people.
just yesterday,i was telling my coach that he needs to teach me how to cover the distance when sparring my opponents. And i stumbled on this video.God bless you!!!!i am really glad.
Love your videos. I watch them daily and incorporate your tips into my training. You can tell how much care and thought you put into them so keep them coming!
I ain't ever thought a video was boring. Always to the point and effective coverage. Great examples to relate the technique you are teaching also, numerous times I have watched extra clips of boxers you mentioned to look at more demonstrations of a technique being used to see how that technique could be used from different situation to different builds of opponents. Keep up the great work
I was a Navy boxer and we did very similar drills. This video does a great job of teaching basics. After mastering those skills you can begin to tailor them to your own style and strengths (i.e. foot or hand speed, reach, power, movement). One fighter he didn't mention is Ali. In his early career he was a master of motion combined with a jab that he could throw from multiple angles. He worked almost everything he did off of that jab thrown with constant movement...usually while circling left....pure poetry in motion.
JT this is a fantastic video, I'm using it every other day in lockdown, to get my fitness back and ring rust off. You are a genius at online boxing training. I can always find what I'm looking for in your videos, wherever I happen to be on this rocky road of trying to learn boxing
Amazing video, this is exactly what I was getting hollered at for failing during sparring tonight. I'm a couple of inches too short to be able to comfortably keep someone at distance so I need to hustle like mad and get in about them. I'll be definitely be adding this into my workouts. Train hard, fight easy. Cheers man!
JT Van V I'm glad your videos are long. They are very detailed, and your explanations, break downs, and techniques are great. I'm learning a lot from watching your videos.
Gosh ! It wotks perfectly well. I am a newbie, practising this non stop for 1 month, bring it to my sparing even my coach have troubles hitting me. Then I spare with another girl who is very experience, she can not land a clean shot on me. Thank you for all this.
For the time being, I'm in a gym who used to be very nice (in Paris, France) but my teacher is not what he used to be anymore and I have to figure all techniques by myself until I change of gym. That's why I'd like to thank you very much for all your advices. They are very appreciated man.
Hi bro,,, i really enjoy your lessons, really useful for me, sometimes I play back videos that I've seen, study every detail carefully. where I live it's very hard to get boxing lessons to learn, and finally I found your youtube channel. keep up the good work, greetings to meet, i am fizi from borneo
