Honestly my favorite lock build I've seen so far. Since it's already at 72, it may be worth it to try and sneak another point into close shot to get Paint Prodigy for the backdoor cuts where I don't get a standing dunk. Close shot seems good this year against mismatches.

I really don’t like how all these dudes keep saying their builds are balanced and then you see they basically made no upgrades to an entire category lol.

This is as balanced as u can get with a lock down, this isn’t a two way. Ur job is literally to just sit corner and guard their best perimeter. This is still more attributes if u try to make this in 24 u can’t

You can't get legend on ball menace badge without 86 agility, you have to anticipate cap breakers.
Love the build but the low interior worries me about guards that can rim run and 76 3ball was solid last year but we have no idea about this year so 79 is something we gotta test.
64 interior is not that low for a guard build imo... 78 block would help a lot also
the block is decent and u have gold immovable enforcer even tho u got not the highest interior so that could be pretty helpful

Yea this was my idea build I was going to make. If there was a way I can make this at 6’8 to be more versatile I’m doing it but worse case I’m making basically this looks tuff

You can use cap breakers and/or badge upgrades for those defensive badges. That way you don't have to get your perimeter to 97 and can use points elsewhere

@spillboy it's all good. I'm looking at the 6'7 "for a lock build, but I might go 6'6" for more attributes. I'm only making one build, so im going to be in the builder for a while, making the best lock that fits my playstyle and gamemodes i play.

But you do have to tweak it a bit depending on what takeover you want as well just keep that in mind
Would a 7’2 wing span make that much of a difference? 80 3 pointer would get the 3 and D take over to boost 3pt, prem, and agility.

Is 79 a good three ball. I had a 79 three ball in 24 but I wasn’t able to hit consistently. I would miss a lot. Is it the same this year.
If you got hotzones, choose a good takeover.. and run with team who got gold dimer.. you should be good.. I have to check the specific requirements again but I ain’t going above silver shooting badges to start.. will try and make it so I can get the rest (gold) trough cap breakers.. always been a decent shooter.. but then again.. I might change my mind..
I feel like if you get a good jumper and take smart shots you’ll still shoot 60-70%
With 87 mid range you'll have Gold Set Shot Specialist as well which will help. This build is ideal when shooting from the corner.
I had a 65 as long as your middy was decent you can make em. Mine was 82

Good lockdowns have speed. Steal perimeter defense and speed your top 3 stats definitely not the best build
Off ball movement/defense lateral quickness goes off agility, not speed. Speed is for going up and down the court.
