I have been to this beautiful trek in May last year,damn this looks unreal in snow.And trust me the point from where you returned,after that point the scenic landscapes are even more mesmerising As always your narration and choice of background score is awesome.The English score you used was very soothing. The dogs i guess were enjoying more than that you were enjoying 😅 Kareri village is a hidden 💎 and you portrayed the place to perfection. Keep doing the great work,for me it was quite nostalgic,as i have been a recent traveller to kareri.
This is going to sound weird, and I'm not sure you will see my comment, but I also trekked Kareri alone in September 2023 and met this EXACT GROUP of four guys on the way and they graciously accepted me into their group (just like they did you) and I trekked with them to the top! They're a lovely bunch and very nice boys, they told me they had come in winter earlier but I did not expect to just randomly come across your vlog and see them. :)
Hi Akshit, thanks for reaching out! Yes there are few camping sites available on the way but i would recommend you to try camping at the lake. As of now snow starts melting, give it 1-2 weeks you can easily reach the top in few hours and then camp there. Hope it helps. 🙏

Hi Shardul, thanks for reaching out. I did it on 21-22 Jan 2023. I wanted to do a snow trek myself so opted to go for Kareri. There are 4 treks near Macleod. Triund, Rising star, Thatharana and this one Kareri lake. Normally March snow starts melting and treks seems to be open but this season snowfall was little late so it might took a little more time. I request you to kindly contact any hotels, hostels, shops to check if treks are open or not, i did the same for this Kareri as well. Hope it helps.

Yes there are few camping sites available on the way but i would recommend you to try camping at the lake.
As of now snow starts melting, give it 1-2 weeks you can easily reach the top in few hours and then camp there. Hope it helps. 🙏
