I met a dog at the beach one time whose owner said she worked at a children’s hospital so she had an inside voice. He told her to show us and she let out the gentlest little woof 🥰
Just a suggestion. Look for a vet that makes home visits. Our dog had so much anxiety when we adopted him that he vomited and emptied his bladder in the car. We were very fortunate to find a vet that makes home visits. It's really great. She gives him an exam, his vaccinations, and his seasonal heart worm pills. These vets have very little overhead, so her fees are 50% less than our local vet.! Once when he had a bad sprain, she was able to hook us up with a vet clinic that only charged us 10% above their cost to examine him, get an X-ray, and treat him with cold laser. The entire cost was only $70!! So, if you want less stress for yourself and your dog, and to save money as well, look for such a vet in your area.
Both of our late Shelties were therapy dogs who learned basic sign language commands. They were each extremely popular at a local special ed school. And its not just deaf people who learn sign! Sign language uses a different aspect of the brain, so often those who are non-verbal due to autism or selective mutism learn sign as well!
Back in the early '70s, our basset hound was stolen from our yard. Over a year later, we heard a clanging chain outside the house in the middle of the night -- someone had driven her back to our house and dumped her. She was never the same. A few months later, totally unprovoked, she attacked me (yes, a basset!), tearing holes in my leg and stomach. My mother was using a hand beater at the time and had to hit her with it to get her off of me. We had to put her down after that.
Dogs having allergic reactions can be too scary to be funny. I nearly lost a dog due to a bug sting and an allergy to benadryl syrup. She was in a coma by the time we got to the vet office. Thankfully, a vet injection of benadryl did help her.
1. I can't fathom why a person would STEAL someone's dog and then treat it poorly. 2. I wish these TH-cam videos didn't end so abruptly. Maybe some kind of sign off - like "thanks for watching… see you next week!" or something ?
Hmm. I mean, isn't that dance typically a slow dance? With slow dances you're pretty close to each other. And they were far enough apart for a dog to just casually stroll between them. It's not a big deal. Parents are allowed to be loving and affectionate with their children. God forbid he hugs her, you know?
Ruger’s chip still gave the family’s contact info: if he’d been taken to a vet during that seven ‘missing’ years wouldn’t he have been identified as being with the wrong people?
You know your algorithm is working great when you've already seen most of the good dogs over the course of the week. I'll watch them all again anyway!
Bless that woman's heart for continuing to look for Ruger. What a load that must have been off of that family. 😢
I'm so thankful for pet chips! Seven years! Poor Ruger and his family. So glad they're together again.
The loud barker in the truck cracked me up!
That nap after going swimming is the BEST, for humans and dogs too!
Lizzie has it all figured out how to get a belly rub. 😂
Ruger's reunion made me ugly cry. I cannot imagine one if mine being missing and not knowing what had become of them for 7 years! 💜💜💜
It’s really sickening when someone steals someone else’s pet. The pain is like having your child kidnapped.
Yep. Know that feeling.
It’s a heartbreak that doesn’t ease either.
5 1/2 years and I’m still looking, still worrying, still hoping.
I'm so happy for Ruger and his family!! ❤❤❤
So happy for Ruger and his family!! Miracles DO happen! Get your pets chipped and keep those chips updated!!
Sign language for dogs! Brilliant idea that should be taught at puppy school 😊
Can't eat spicy sky raisins! 🌶️🐝
So spicy, forbidden sky raisins 🥵😂
aka flying jalapenos
aka spicy flies
@@misslisa1120 Hornets are super spicy 🥵
@@einienj3281 You are very correct. I pray I never get stung by one.
After a horrible few days, this was the tonic I needed.
I hope you're on the way to feeling better. 🤗
@@Panbaneesha Thank you so much. Dogs always make things better.
But to Ruger, he was gone 49 years. I'm glad he's back home.

I'm so glad the number one pup is safe at home
Aowin is awesome! Imagine taking her to visit deaf people.

@@Kimichitsuzuku love that. Also deaf dogs are sometimes taught a sign language.
Junie wastes no time learning how to use the pool. So precious.
Listen, Kona's trying her best not to ask to speak to the manager. This can be handled the easy way or the hard way, your choice.
You just popped up and I was totally unprepared for Ruger. Now I’m daytime bawling and nobody wants to see that.😂
🙏☮️
I can't stop watching these ❤
Wrigley just upstaged everybody at the wedding.
The dogs WERE very good again this week 🐕 ✨
The way I teared up when she told her children that they found the dog 😭
I love your posts every week and in between and thank you so much for what you do.
Cloud is so cute either way.
These very good dogs always do me so much good!!! Love them all!!!

Junie B! You’re not allowed to leave off the B!
Love the dogs, as usual.
Shirts are fun and appreciated gifts.

Oh my goodness! How sad! Poor thing! She must have gone through something so awful! I am sorry for your loss!
I want a movie made-“Rueger, Come Home!”
Charlie is thinking about getting a job at the ice cream place so he can get a discount.
Beautiful ❤
OMG! The sign language dog!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
God bless all these precious little beings❤
Great video.
I thought a dog that learns sign language had to be number one but yeh okay you got me..I'm sorry for doubting you
Dogs eating bees will never not be funny

To be fair, I need attention before I face the outside world too!!
Kona has a better vocabulary than most people.
7 years!!! OMG 😢
you missed Brodie the Dood who was at the Stanley Cup Final game 7 in the front row.

Are you sure #8 is a father-daughter dance? They look about the same age and very intimate to me 😅
I clicked through on the linked video and it is #fatherdaughterdance soooo

Probably never took it to a vet. :(

Or related to Gollum...
