I think you should have set up the Bhoys (Celtic Academy) from season 1. Might not be first team material from the start, but going on loan for a few years can do wonders, and using some homegrown players could save on transfers, providing backup players, and likely you can sell some off for profit too.
If I didn’t put them in the Prem I’d agree, but they’d never touch the pitch in the prem as it would take too long for them to reach the level they’d need to be at
@@GoodwinHD Haven't played FC25 yet, but in FC24 it usually took 2-3 seasons out on loan, before a decent player was ready to go on the bench of the first team. And even those that could not go into the first team, would be sold off, adding a good chunk to the budget. And kinda did the same with free agents, getting for free, then 6 months or a year later selling them.

Tbf I always go custom now, with the tactics being so in depth sometimes how you want your players to play won’t work with the presets, so I just make my own to what I think works best with the team
