Why aren’t cameras being used more? . . . Cameras can provide security, efficiency and save money in a lot of areas. They should be used for security in schools, but also, in the classroom. Parents could view teacher performance and their child in a learning environment and have an on-line connection to know what is going on in the classroom. Cameras could eliminate administrative bias in teacher evaluation…
Yes, but you could get into a lot of nitpicking of students and teachers actions and words. By the way, I think cameras should have audio and video, not just video. Also, let me know if you would like to have a video camera on you at your job 24/7 so your every action and word can be tracked, evaluated, misunderstood and second-guessed. Sounds like fun to me.
