I don't really like buffets, but I loved the Paris Brunch Buffet when they had it. But when I went to it a year before they closed, it wasn't that good. I do like Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars, but I can't get enough food to make it worth it. And I feel horrible when I'm done that I just want to go to my room and lie down wasting a night in Vegas. A long time ago I got a free buffet at Imperial Palace. It was the worst food I ever had. It reminded me of the "yella" food on National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation.

The buffet is average at best. Tried it years ago and like you said, it does the job. Nothing is really going to wow you.

Separate plates work best. That way, I do not mix flavors that irk me.
Yo ! Your question of do I pile my plate high or eat e ach course separately. I go course by course - salads first, then a sampling of mains in small portions, then I go back a final time for ALL my favorites ! Rarely do I make it to desert because I'd rather eat savories. Unless of course, the buffet has crepes while you wait - YUM !!! I enjoy your video's immensely Matt. Thanks and cheers to you !!!
Its fine if your getting 2 for 1, but I wouldn't pay full price.
The Bellagio is a better buffet but definitely not worth almost $60 per person with taxes.
We stayed at this hotel a last week, but didnt try out this buffet. Thanks for sharing :)

Pizza, fried burritos, fried chicken pieces, mashed potatoes, pancakes, waffles, and bread ALL AT THE beginning of the buffet
We're coming to Vegas in 9 days and got the MyVegas 2 for 1 here. I'm glad to know it's edible anyway.
2 for 1 makes it a much better deal lol
Best thing about a buffet is the multiple choices opposed to one entree in a restaurant. If you have a big appetite you can fill up on a few things you like. But if you can't cut through the meat the quality isn't there so you need to pay more.

Just back from Vegas…did the trio of MGM, Excalibur and Luxor buffets …liked them in that order…all same price..they are all fine but obviously not Wynn caliber

I went to the MGM Buffet years ago when _Studio 54_ was still around! It was good then, but nothing standout!
At least the #BuffetPizza was good(with gravy)!
It's probably worth it. I never get pizza, sushi, turkey, salad, fruit, rice on a buffet. I have that at home anytime!

Not flying 6 hours to come to Vegas to eat at a buffet when the greatest restaurants are there. Never been a fan of buffets. The food usually is sub par at best. I mean your best comments are not bad. I like the idea of being served in a beautiful setting. And Vegas has the best. Matt I love your videos but two weeks in a row of buffers?? Come on , show me the best restaurants on and off the strip. I know it’s expensive but that’s worth it.

This a bull crap video I just eat the MGM Grand buffet and it's not good at will the eggs are definitely from a carton the sausages had no taste the ham the ham was tasteless the the brisket was okay didn't have a lot of taste but it did taste like brisket the chicken roasted chicken was not good the salad bar was probably about the best part in the in the in the ginger from the sushi bar the waffles were okay the bacon not good the sausage gravy was okay the chicken fried steak not good you can cut it with a fork it was so mushy the ham was so mushy and reminded me of spam don't waste your money on this Grand Buffet at the at the MGM Grand don't listen for over 60 and you can come your food but these videos of Vegas has been overblown it is not the value that you think you're getting. Save your money and Go to Dennys next door.
It's been over 10 years since I've been there. It was just Ok then. Since then every Video I've seen has said it sucked. At least it's headed back to OK level. I would only try it again if I was staying at MGM.
