@@WingsaberE3 It isn't really a matter of opinion. This game and its oredecessor are part of the Aligned continuity. They're direct prequels to the Transformers Prime show, although Hasbro didn't decide to do this until the 2nd game, hence why characters like Cliffjumper resemble their Prime appearances in the 2nd game but not the first.
@@joachimvzm4274 I remember a mention of the ark in transformers prime, but then wouldn’t a ton of autobots be on Earth? Plus in prime Starscream doesn’t get outed til later and in FoC Starscream is already rogue.

For Starscream it's almost certainly because keeping Starscream around was amusing to Megatron, hence why Megs was so tolerant of Starscream's treachery in the tv show. He even specifically states as much when he finally loses patience.
