Apropos of the last line, Alastor was also a Greek god vengeance. It was pronounced uh-LAS-tor, however.
That sounds interesting, could have quite some implications for the lore if the creator new. Or just a fun coincidence. I'll have to remember to look that up, would love to learn more
@Cat_s_Eve I was curious if he were based on someone in mythology like Piemon and Stolas were and found that out
I did hear she created the character way way back, but I don't know whether that means just the design or also the backstory etc. Looks like possibly fruitful research. I always imagined him being a bastard son raised by the proverbial village of discrimenated against women, which would explain some mannerisms and could provide something to avenge if I combine this with your findings
