- I don't think Bonta is a secret, however it's new 2nd last attack is. You can only obtain it if you unlocked the secret scenario after stage 27. You also get Bonta now rather then stage 40.And holy crap, the mercenary quotes against it is hilarious.

The animations for Bonta-kun keep on being good.
And I still say that those four he poses with near the end are Kurz, Mao and Kaname. There's a Bonta with a sniper rifle in the charge, one of the descending ones wields a freaking HARISEN, and I have no doubt that the last one's part of the close-range mass shooting bit.
0:10 Dude, to be fair, it's a fluffy costume that's packing serious heat, covered in body armor, and is basically a human-sized mech suit.
And commands a motherfluffin' ARMY of similarly-armed fluffy costumes.

I love that small detail in that last attack animation. One of the MP Bonta's loses balance when Bonta-Kun runs past him and he fires a stray rocket before he falls and that same rocket connects before Bonta-Kun reaches the enemy.
Also, one of the falling MP Bonta's hits Gates with a paper fan
When Bonta kun finally goes to space, maybe we will finally be able to watch some space mice in action.

Ah, the best way to crush an enemy. No, defeating them isn't enough. You should defeat them and crumble up their pride of being a warrior to literal pieces by making them witness that they're so much of a nobody that a mere fluffy doll can beat their asses.

@@dleonidae The Bonta-kun suit has the same specs as an M9, so it's just as strong as Kurz and Mao's mechs, if not stronger.
@@MarikoKusumi Plus it's an XS (eXtra-Small)-sized unit, and in SRW games, XS-sized units are basically impossible to hit without the Ignore Size ability, Spirit Commands, a huge difference in Accuracy vs. Evasion or taking advantage of dodge decay. However, they tend to have trouble dealing damage against larger enemies unless their attacks can also ignore size - either a given attack has to have that trait or the unit has that ability.
He is just as amazing as I remember him.
If anyone other than Sousuke could use the Bonta suit, it would totally be one the main ones to use... But the Laevatein is just better.

I'm gonna put a flight module on Bonta-Kun then upgrade him up to the eleven.
just do that to the Arbalest before stage 27(both bonta-kun and the ARX-8 Laevatein will inherit the Arbalest's upgrades up to that point, but only Laevatein with inherit any support parts you had on Arbalest)

This is way too late, but he didn't miniaturized Arm Slave (mech in Full Metal Panic). He actually stole an amusemrnt park mascott and built an AS from that.

Bonta uses lethal munitions against mercenary frames. Even one of the mercs speaks as he was going to bit it. So armor piercing flechettes, Beowulfs and good fashion HEAT rockets

To be fair Bota Kun uses regular weaponary, or at worst larger variant of a weapon type, while as need much more. Still, it would cost more than the current low budget soldier attire.

Egh... It's fun to use in J, but you're eventually stuck with one of the following scenarios unless you're either incredibly scrutinous and careful or using codes to balance out a few things since: Too dodgy to ever be attacked or likely be killed fast if you DO get hit unless you put in some armor modules(and even then it's quite frail by J standards since it's the most frail overall), which may hinder the experience.
You'd think they would've made it possible to have any one other character in it since it means giving up the Arbalest for something that only seems to spice up the battlefield rather than play into the story proper and little else...
