Electronics is vast field in itself and one should not go into it as alternative for cs/it .This will be harmful for entire engineering community if a core branch like entc is coming out to be mode of adjustment for upcoming engineers who couldn't get cs/it so they simply applied for entc.

After that every next job you apply for has Major role of skills ,your previous work experience, reviews of your work by seniors, etc. So as to conclude ”branch" is going to stay with you for your entire career but this always doesn't always hold true for college. So if you ask me choose Cs in another college
