As for shaving, I used to wage war on my beard daily because I get my 5 o'clock shadow at midday. However now I do it two or three times a week. I've learned to tolerate a little stubble because I actually get the best shave if there is at least two mm of shaft above skin level. I bought a fancy old school razor (yeah I gave in to the Henson ads!) a decent sable brush and nice foams to make it more of a self care ritual too. The razor has been a revelation, actually. The blades come in packs of 100, cost a couple of cents each, work as well as cartridges and last just as long. Only downsides are visualising the volume of landfill occupied by my lifetime cartridge count and questioning why I've given a house deposit to Gillette over the last two decades.
I used to be the same but it wasn't by choice after 15 years in the military. I now shave every few years I have no time for that nonsense these days 😮 I hated having to shave twice a day when most lads shaved twice a week.

why would it be joking ..we knowen this for DECADES .. its just one of those health flips peopel get that is never true.
Very much depends on what you do. If you have a job that is outside physical work then you probably need to shower every day. If you work in hospitality you probably need to shower every day. If you work in an air conditioned office or at home and don’t exercise then you probably don’t need to shower as often.
not true, imagine a construction worker sweating everyday on a summer is just taking a bath 2 - 3 times a week. that shit is nasty and funky.
@@farlonmuentes6004 I shower daily, so preaching to the choir. But many dermatologists agree and wrote this paper saying differently. I would add that when younger my face was breaking out very badly, and my dermatologist told me to quit washing my face unless it's visibly dirty. And my face cleared up, he said that I was washing so much that I was damaging my skin by washing away the oils, he said to wash my face when showering only once a day max, less if possible
@@farlonmuentes6004 exactly. You can only get away with 2-3 showers a week if you work in a cool office and don't exercise much.

Note to self: If we don't ask girls how are they feeling when we know they are having a bad time...they get mad at us for not caring. If we do ask them they will say "I'm fine"...and now I know that we can't help them and find a solution because they will get mad at us for helping. I'm a dude so forgive the question, but is it not better to buy the foundation directly at a store? I feel like there so many shade that it's easy to get it wrong online.
Dude here also, I'm guessing that they perhaps eyeball it when the shades they need is out of stock?

I agree there's a lot of shades and I'm guessing the shades have different names or other identifying information depending on the brand?
From buying other stuff online I know that what you see on the screen can differ greatly from what you get.
The cheap stores for car or marine paint use stock photos so the color definitely doesn't match, that could be a reason too.
I think that sometimes men worry less about things because we plan for things to not go to plan. Women want things to go accordingly to the plan, so when it doesn't they worry and get frustrated. But for men, when plan fails, things are going according to plan.
Here's an idea...buy various empty travel bottle/container. just transfer some stuff you need with things you already have. boom, saves money.
I don’t have any hot chocolate, but I have some Tim Tams. So I did some Tim Tam Slams with my tea.
Nuts to those dinky travel toiletries. I use the little refillable tubes and squeeze bottles to take a bit of the shower, hair and skin stuff I already have at home. Not just more cost effective, most of my preferred products aren't available in travel sizes anyway. The mini deodorant sprays are legit though.
I don't have a shave day, but I probably should. My beard doesn't grow super fast, and I prefer the stubble over clean shaven. Sometimes I even use my hair trimmer.
I also trim my hair, and I've been meaning to implement a set day for when I should trim it, like every Sunday or something.
6:09 - Venting to vent, or asking for a solution?
This is a gross generalization, but in a lot of cases: Women like to talk out their problems, without necessarily seeking a solution to them; just talking about them out loud is therapy enough. And men are much more solution-oriented: if they have a problem, they're looking for a solution; if their loved one has a problem, they want to be a good provider / defender and solve that problem. But like I said, that is a vast generalization. There are people of all genders who have their own way of being, when it comes to problems and solutions and talking about them and such.
If you are a person in a relationship, it is a very important step to find out- really find out by asking in so many words, literally: "When you talk about your problems, are you talking to vent and just want a compassionate listener, or are you seeking a solution to your problems?" Many people will have a general way of being most of the time, but may, in a specific circumstance, want something different from their usual. And if that is the case, then it is on that person to say so: "Usually I'm just looking for an ear to listen to my troubles, but in this case, I really do want to try to find a solution together. Can you help me out here?" Or: "Though many times I speak about my problems with the intent to find a fix, in this case I know the situation, I just need to vent a bit, okay? Just listen this time, please." Open, honest communication about what you want out of a partner is crucial- whether in the every day, or in a specific circumstance. Talker and listener both need to understand the intention of this conversation, and should NOT simply assume that "my partner should know what I need; if they really loved me they would know without having to ask." No. That is not right. Communication is key. And when someone tells you, then believe them. And don't play games with it. "Well I said this, but I really meant this, and you should have known that." Again: no. Say what you mean, and mean what you say, and believe your partner when they tell you something. Second-guessing and mind games are not a healthy relationship. Communication and honesty is.

:50 @Nalopia, have you considered buying the travel size items once, saving the containers, and refilling them every time you need the travel size? you can buy the better value large sizes and not have to needlessly overspend on the travel sizes each outing.
If a girl went to bed after an argument and got mad at me venting my anger in a healthy manner instead of falling asleep full of rage next to a person you want to murder i would have to kindly decline the relationship
Wednesdays/Thursdays and Sundays is my shaving schedule (twice a week). The fact that I only follow this schedule 30% of the year is another matter 😂😅

The real smart idea is to just buy things you need after you land. Travel size is useless. Jf you don't use what you bought on vacation, just ship it to yourself. It's cheaper than the rates for baggage, and you'll eventually use it at home.

Nal, I have misophonia. If I hear someone eating I sometimes have to leave the room because I get uncontrollably irritated and angry from it. If I were to be there while this man was eating I'd probably hit him over the head with a shovel and help his wife carry him to the basement. So yeah, it bothers me.

As Keb Mo said, "You dont got to shave your legs for me." I dont care about my wife shaving her legs, but I know not everyone feels the same. Just wanted y'all to know it is a thing you can look for. Now, I have shaved my head for longer than I'm prepared to admit to and I'll make a point of shaving before I work outside. That helps the tan but also cuts down on the debris sticking to my head. :-)

Amber you realize that showering twice a day everyday increases you chance for an infection right? The skin has natural defenses against bacteria and other microbes by excessively scrubbing your skin you're disrupting those systems and increasing the chance that you're gonna get sick

I'm guessing it's done with the already uploaded video and the audio is muted through the copyright system.
Others do a new upload so the commentary stays but the copyrighted material is muted.

look if something bad happened every month I would try to forget that too. I never fault a women for their biology. I fault them when I am pulling the frying pan out of the wall at 3 am because they think their boyfriend is cheating on them emotionally with the dog but now they are fine.
