If anyone didn't know - There is wild dogs running around everywhere.. After so long in the wild, they take on a unique look - similar as seen with these 2.... We have Indian reservations that have wild dogs running around & they eventually start taking on certain characteristics too.

These aren’t wild dogs; they are either domestic or feral.

You referring to the African wild dog ? We call them wild dogs here in northern America. IDK

ThistleDewOutdoors any wild species needs genetic integrity; in case of dogs, the ones that have got ‘naturalised’ by turning feral can’t be categorised as wild. In fact such dogs have become a threat to the the wild animals and birds in many regions. Incidentally, African wild dogs aren’t the only species; Indian dholes are another example of wild dogs. Though in taxonomy, there are 35 species under ‘wild dogs’ only five have close resemblance to dogs, rest being fox, wolf, jackal types; no wild dog is found in North America.

Don’t understand why the prey animals there don’t run like most prey animals do when predators enter the picture, those deer are bother by the vehicle and the people, saw in another video where the baby deer was killed by wild dogs because mother deer was more distracted of the people than of the dogs hunting and killing its offspring

@Bhupesh Yadav Obviously not the indian wild dog, called "dhole", which looks different and is much more agile, but I think some stray or feral domestic dogs, hunting on their own. Intense video though!

Because they are smart. They know that if they run the fawn can't keep up and will be killed. So they stand their ground and defend it.

The deer here know that their best option is to stand their ground, running is _precisely_ what the dogs want, that way it can leave the young fawn potentially exposed to attack.

dogs are weak, only take small animals or injured ones. they would never seperate those parents off that fawn unless the parents got injured. Dogs gets kicked and fucked up by all large mammals, they know not to get too close. Even large packs have to split them up which is hard. I’ve seen deer in dams surrounded by a pack of dogs and they never relent. Dogs give up quickly too. They don’t waste much energy chasing things they know are too hard to get.
Baby lambs, singled out sheep, dropped calves are easy for them. I think there was 2 or 3 in this clip...

I'm confused..... what was the point of this video? It was 2 deer and a little one..... dogs got close a couple of times, then cries in the distance. This was basically just deer standing around.👎👎👎👎
