Im so happy you watched 4:44 and hikikomori. Those songs are him pouring his genuine feelings into his lyrics and you can clearly see his head space back then, When he released newest album/ep with Movimento i was so happy to see him looking and sounding free in his lyrics and video
Thank you for the Yongguk reaction! He has so many good and powerful songs. He really has a way of putting strong emotions into his music. He hasn't shied away from talking about his mental health struggles and using his music to express them. I love him so much and think he gets overlooked all the time and I don't get it. I've seen him live when he toured the US and he such an amazing performer. I definitely recommend if you ever get the chance! The mini album that Movimiento is from has an MV for each song all filmed at the same location and it's really interesting to see how they evoke different vibes and feelings using the same backdrop. The song Bad off that album is a more upbeat, fun song for a different vibe and Numb is in english and sooooo good. Ride or Die off his first EP is also more upbeat and fun but honestly all his songs are gems.
