‘Rela’ instead of ‘tricyle’ - And who wouldn’t remember the famous form of transportation called ‘rela’ here in CdO? It’s quite different looking as compared to the ‘tricyle’ in Metro Manila. Another interesting part about it is the manner of calling/catching it. In Manila, it’s easy to know which one to ride because most are under proper terminals and sometimes even color-coded. Here however is strange as a passenger needs to ‘para’ the ‘rela’ and mention your destination hoping that the driver would be headed that way. Imagine the rejection and the numerous attempts that should be done before successfully hailing one. And yes, if you’re lucky enough, you’ll get to see them well decorated in during the Yuletide season.
