Agreed. I’m still on the fence whether we need such level as of detail in a flight sim, but you cannot deny the artistry, the attention to detail or the sheer amount of work it must have been to create it. It’s very impressive!
the FPS drop is insane too - plus 2-3x longer load time, for a terminal interior you'll look at once. it's an amazing scenery, but we need options to turn off full interiors and static aircraft
This is one I’m looking forward to. especially like a KEWR-EGPF run with it. As usual great vid and ignore the dreamers that just want to hate on a beautiful aircraft.
What kind of video editing soft do you use ? It stuttered throughout the take off this time, its curious that its either take off or approach that gets it.
I bought thr 700 model but think I will get the 600 next because I am more of the regional sim pilot my self, 1 to 4 hour flights is mainly what I do. So the smaller airliners and the bigger ga are what I prefer.
Interior of scenery looks amazing agree, however is it neccesary? What % of simmers start Sim in cockpit and never leave? Large proportion I'd imagine. How much does interior impact frames?
Is the 737 800 a category c or d aircraft, when i making my airframe in simbrief i dont know which one to choose and in an approach chart it asks for which category my aircraft is,?
Depends on MLW certification of the carrier. For example many legacy carriers who aren't using 189 seats or other holiday configs have it certified as a CAT C aircraft, while primarily holiday carriers or for example Turkish carriers have it certified as a CAT D aircraft. In my airline we use 65317kg as MLW and that's CAT C.
I love the full immersion editing with the whole walk across the terminal! I’d gladly watch more videos of this kind… provided the airport is of DD quality, of course :)
NY Dep. would really get on your case in the real world if you weren't doing 250kts after cleaning up lol. They want to get you moving and out of the area as quickly as possible. The 900ERs at Newark virtually always use flaps 5. 22R especially at the full length or even a W takeoff is plenty long enough and the second segment climb performance due to the high airspeed is really good when flying V2+15 until accel.
Might result in some phone calls between NY Departure and my airline as flying the UP Speed till 3000AAL is SOP in my airline. We don't fly to the US though, so luckily that's not an issue. Even in busy airports here in Europe like Frankfurt, Rome or Madrid they don't have any problems with this SOP. Get you higher quicker, thus reducing noise emissions.
@@A330Driver Neat. Yeah things are a bit different on the other side of the pond. Interesting thing about the EWR looping turns on the 4s/22s is they are purely for noise abatement to avoid overflying the residential areas on the extended center line of 4L/22R in either direction. And the loop has you over industrial parks. By the time you loop back over residential you are already high and fast. Originally Newark just had 11/29 so when they installed the pair of the 4s/22s that was part of the deal was the looping procedure turn. They have experimented with minor changes over the decades including a 270 degree turn back to the SW off 22R after 190 but went back to the 220. Back in the 80s and 90s it wasn't uncommon in the summer to see 727s in shallow climbs starting their turns well below 400ft. The heavies going to Europe NY DEP starts swinging back around to the north east before they complete the 220 turn. I'm local to NYC. Thanks for your content.

I'm very inclined to just use what I have, and wait for the Max, when that appears down the line. Appreciate your videos and input as always, sir.
So let’s say you’ve contacted the dueller and asked for the fuel according to your flight plan. What happens then if when you do the calculations on the FMC it says you will have a lot more extra or not enough. Do you just go out to the refueller and ask for more/less before they leave? Is the FMC more authoritative than the flight plan? Only asking because I usually keep getting different trip fuel despite adjusting the fuel factor in simbrief but I go off what the plane says
A lot of extra fuel: No Problem, take what you have. Unloading fuel is really, really expensive, you don't want to do that. In the worst case: Just burn it off. Still much cheaper than unloading. Insufficient fuel: First of all: Ask the fueller to stay (once they're gone it takes AGES till they're back). Then figure out where the difference comes from. Usually it's an incorrect routing in the FMC, so compare your track miles from the FMC with those from the OFP. If that's not the problem check your winds, they are also a common factor. Maybe you forgot a 1 or a 0 somewhere and entered ten knots tailwind instead of a hundret? If everything in the FMC is correct think about step climbs. It doesn't take them into account. If that can also be ruled out it's time to call ops and have them create a new flight plan for you.

Mostly eats up my limited vram (2060ti) and lower frames than other lighter sceneries. Had to make some setting adjustments, but overall I’m still getting 26-30(locked) fps. Thanks DD!!
To be honest, I don't really know. Everything was perfectly smooth in the sim, but it seems my recording program has some problems at KEWR.
