Besides Clem & AJs relationship, Violets romance was in my opinion the best thing about this Season. Every scene w/ her and Clementine is just incredible, the only thing that would have made it the best was if we only have gotten one "I love you".

I'm a straight male, but Violet as a character is more sympathetic. Also, she's lived through a rough life even before the infection. I mean, your family living in a trailer, having to watch your granny kill herself and just numb your feelings, only to open up later and then get heartbroken by loss... damn. That's a whole lot of bad cards. To me, she's similar to Clem in where she had to toughen up too fast in a world that fell apart.. well, too fast. In contrast, A rich kid who got everything except what he really wanted before breaking up his own family... It's tough coming to terms with your own actions and having that life of a bubble popped, but the live in the moment mentality, while it has it's moments, wouldn't really make sense long term. True, for Louis, it's broad strokes, I mean, I love the guy. I would rather have Vi lose an eye than for Louis to lose what makes him, well, him. But between both, I would have my Clem date Vi in a heartbeat. MUTUAL RESPECT PEOPLE. PLEASE DON'T CALL FOR A TAC NUKE

I picked Violet already in my first Playthrough :) This Romance feels for me much more heartwarming and natural. I'm...kinda glad I friendzoned Violet. I saved Louis instead of her, figuring she'd make it out, unlike him. Instead, she was kidnapled and I broke her heart. I just knew it wasn't meant to be. That's the lesson she learned from the "New Frontier" season. Family and war just don't mix. "Together 'til death do us apart" just doesn't have place. It got (in my case) Kate killed, not splitting up the group out of absolute loyalty to Javi.
the difference between Vi and Louis is that vi and clem are super similar, and louis and clem are opposites. they both have chemistry with clem, and both love stories are cute, but after watching this i think i still prefer clem and louis

Listen, I LOVE the ship with vi and Clem, it even sailed! But, when I chose to save Violet, and poor poor Louis got his tong chopped off, I regret saving Vi SO hard....
Don't regret it. Things get worse for her in episode 4 if you don't save her.
Trust me, violet gets blinded,with half her face burnt asf and she ends more traumatized than Luis himself and it's a very shocking image to ser if you don't expect it. I once saw it on a game play and I was like OH FUCKKKKKK HER FACE-
If Luis ended mega trauma✨️ with his tongue chopped off, violet is also so sad and distressing to witness ngl. And I'd dare that she reacted even way worse than luis

I'm...kinda glad I friendzoned Violet.
I saved Louis instead of her, figuring she'd make it out, unlike him. Instead, she was kidnapled and I broke her heart. I just knew it wasn't meant to be.
That's the lesson she learned from the "New Frontier" season. Family and war just don't mix. "Together 'til death do us apart" just doesn't have place. It got (in my case) Kate killed, not splitting up the group out of absolute loyalty to Javi.
