Flats you misread the Sojourn changes. They're doing exactly what you wanted. When they say "Her railgun's primary fire" they're referring to her projectile mode. That's why they're able to reduce it's spread. They wouldn't be able to reduce the secondary fire spread because it's already pinpoint accurate.
Not certain how they're performing in higher ranks, but in low elo Rein feels like he gets melted, so good change there, but Orisa feels pretty fine, so buffing her frontlining along with Rein is likely to leave her overtuned.
Rein gets melted because everyone knows they have to kill him asap or they will become wall paintings.
Yeah i don't get why they would buff Orisa. She feels like the strongest right now.
Rein needs help, tbh. Unless you get a cracked Rein or a decent poke team. I rather choose D Va, Sigma, or Rammatra for barriers. Unlike Rein, all three tanks can provide more value to the team while having their barrier or defence matrix up.
Plus... Anyone with a ranged weapon can out space Rein without Lucio helping him.
@absolstoryoffiction6615 I mean no offense but it sounds like you don't know how to play Rein too well. I don't generally have any issues with any ranged characters when playing Rein, other than a Bastion in turret mode. If you have decent shield usage (flicker), utilize your large health pool and USE COVER, you can get close to anyone and take them out or at least force them to move. Rein is good but some of his faults (big hit boxes, slow animations etc) don't help him much.

I don't believe anything I'm seeing here until it lands on the actual game client itself and I get to log in and see the nerf with my own two eyes. Till then, blizzard are fucking terrible at balancing this game, they have ruined OW2 essentially, bring back 6v6 IMO, peace.

If they put his orb on cooldown then they have to buff either his kick damage, primary damage, or healing output because he and his team will die with that kind of change

Blizzard keeps promising so many reworks and balance adjustments.. And they just haven't delivered. So I'm really not optimistic about all this
I will continue to say nurf zen orb when I play zen. I should be able to solo melt a tank.
I love Torb but his turret get destroyed so quickly. Even if it's up for a decent surprise, any competent dps that isn't like Reaper can shut it down. Not even using his E and Hammer to repair it keeps it up longer than extra 2 seconds. It'll be real interesting to see what they do, and hopefully nothing with just numbers like decreasing turret dmg by 50% and increasing his Hammer melee to 150%.
Maybe in the higher levels of play but in lower tiers with me a Torb will put his turret at a choke point and if I try to round the corner I get melted cause I can't destroy it fast enough lol, it's wild to me how the different levels of play differ in opinion.

@@shadowstrike07 For sure. It's the same with Pharah - can dominate more easily in low ranks but level of play will get sniped out of the air in seconds.

@@LightsJusticeZwell, in the pro level, actually phara is pretty good, because phara players learn to adapt to their counters. Look at any match from Saudi Arabia, even if the other team plays Cas, it's still not enough
Sojourn railgun primary fire is the projectile. The rail doesn't have spread anyway so they're definitely talking about the left click there
I think the confusion is due to everyone swaping the fire mode around, I sometimes forget her right click was supose to be the "laser"

Blizz has been balancing for bottom ranks then upward. No surprise these patches are a mess.
People think they want bottom-up balance because their personal preference for nerfs and buffs get put into the game. This is the consequence of not taking the top-down balance approach. Heroes become near unplayable (Doomfist (still) anyone?), and it's getting worse.
It's almost like the execs are taking their business sense and applying it
directly to the balance patch. More golden goose killing. More mismanagement of a successfully launched game. Old and new talent alike are leaving these kind of games dev operations. Indie games and smaller companies are going to have a big come-up of talent once some of these Big Game corps bite the dust.

Everyone else for the millionth time: Lucio was good for over three seasons, and now flank/dive heroes are meta, so brig is getting picked more. Her changes where and still are considered a lateral adjustment in power, no one is shocked by this, and you're still wrong.
They'll make it so when you discord a tank it's a 35% increase

Zen changes would be a good step, but I move for a vote of no confidence in balance until something is done about cas and mei. And honestly I still think jq still needs work she’s a little too good still. I don’t like it when isolated tanks feel impossible to kill
Guarantee you its not gonna be enough of a nerf and will nerf the overall percentage rather than nerfing just for tanks. Making him worse against squishier heroes and still just as insufferable against tanks

Although im all for a Zen discord orb nerf, there is one situation where its still needed, 2+ tank teams in QP. I know people dont take QP "seriously" but its fucking annoying when you start facing 2 or 3 tanks because they are losing.
Also this isnt just a once in awhile thing, i see it at least 1 game per hour when playing.
if its puting it on a tank gives it less damage,i am completly fine with the change as a zen main.I think its fair.Just dont hurt my damage on squishies
As an Orisa, Torb and Sym player, im pretty happy with these changes. Torb and Sym will feel more like skill instead of chance and Orisa will be more viable which im super happy about. I love Orisa.
Not chance. Blindsided more like it. Survived on colliseo as Torb in comp mystery heroes on literally 1hp multiple times and hid so much by just throwing my turrets over and over so they could build my ult

For me the biggest annoying thing as a tank is Anas antinade and sleepdart. They should nerf it. Ana is op and its really annoying to play as a tank against her

Unpopular opinion: tank players will simply never be happy with zenyatta. Even if they reduce discord to 15% on tanks like flats said, are you trying to tell me as a tank player you won’t complain every game that you take 15% more damage than the enemy every time you fight zen and don’t have one? To me if they want to nerf zen the best answer is actually the kick, because that’s what impacts a lot of counter play. Not only is it a knock back but it does about 62 damage on discorded targets, meaning a lot of his counter matchups lean more into zen’s favor than they used to. I think applying more team-based counterplay options is a lot better than nerfing discord either to a point that tank players are less unhappy in a tune down of the same matchup, or nerfing him to the point he just isn’t played anymore
Sym already does too much damage and gets her ult a lot faster than other heroes. They need to give Sym a 10 to 15 % increase cost to ultimate.

Rail gun shouldn't one shot a squishy above 35% hp, tanks 15%. It SHOULD do increased damage to armor and less damage to shields.
