I really needed to hear this message again tonight. Heard this message when you first taught on it last year, and it really hit home then too. I love Jesus with all of my heart, and yet have felt like a failure off and on since I was a little girl. Have actually had the word failure on my mind, a lot lately. Different things have tried to discourage and keep me down. Over the last year or so, the Lord has really been doing a deep work in my heart/life. Wouldn't you know, as the Lord has been working, the enemy has tried to discourage and get my focus off track. I know that the devil is the accuser of the brethren, and that he wants us to feel down and out all the time. As Christians, we both know that God's Word tells us, to have faith in God. To trust in Him, with all of our hearts, and not lean unto our own understanding. As we acknowledge Him, in all of our ways, He will direct our paths. I like what you said, about how we shouldn't look at our failure. That we should be looking to Jesus. It's so easy to get caught up in and dwell on our failures, but when we do that we begin to focus on ourselves. Our focus shouldn't be on us, but on Jesus alone. For, without Him, we can do nothing! God bless you, Pastor Scott! You are a blessing to the Body of Christ, and I am thankful for you. 📖 ✞ ❤️
Praise be to Father GOD for your mercy & grace upon us ; in our LORD JESUS HOLY NAME ! AMEN 🙏 🙌
