That's bad luck bud. I have yet to hear of anyone having Lower units going like that. Think the weight and size of boat has anything to do with the lower units going out
@Kosher damn bud sorry to hear. When i first seen the video il for some reason I thought they were Suzuki but then remembered he had verados. Maybe the verados make too much power! God luck with them. I was thinking about going to the new Mercury's, heard nothing but great things from them v
My son now runs our old ocean master 250 verados 5500 hrs same lowers same power heads one blown head gasket couple end caps we are a dealer keep the lowers in the water prop slap kills them every time
@@KosherXY when the prop breaks water at high speed it slaps the water at 6500 rpm so like hitting a brick wall when the prop reloads and causes the prop slap against the forward gear so breaks the selector and then Grenades we see all the time with tournament boats running hard jumping waves not much you can do about it especially the outside engines that are already teetering with breaking water best thing to do is slow down when you hear the chirp lol
Those verados are known for lower unit issues. Weve popped a few also. Upgrade to the new v10 400s.
