I have heard blackbirds, thrushes, jackdaws, magpies, robins and probably more that I can’t remember at the moment. Thank you for this wonderful video.
i have raised up baby jays amazing experience, jackdaw is my favorite of crows family and for the jays the same, same birds exactly here in greece and landscapes, love uk
wood pigeon its seems to saying 'i dont want to go' collared dove(eurasian) here in greece seems to say the number 18(deka 10 - ohto 8, btw i dont know how to put the tone in english letters to understand it better as used in the french language) it matches, and in greek language her name is about the number 18, difficult to understand and its absolutely logical but i will tell it her name in greek eighteen(18) tail(oura) dekaohtoura, wood pigeon in greek is called (fasa)

As a European birder, yes i do see these in my yard!(though only 28 of these are known from my area) Seeing European birds in your videos thumbnail was a pleasant surprise, are you ever planning to bird in Europe? I bet it would be an interesting experience, and i dream of birding in America myself.

The crested tit isn’t really what I would call a garden bird, they seem to favour more isolated forests and seem to favour being in the higher parts of the tree.

Thank you so much for posting sounds of common European birds. Since it is summer I would add 3-4 warblers: chiffchaff, willow warbler, lesser whitethroat and perhaps one of. My favorite singing warbler - Wood warbler.
Speaking of warblers in my area I am able to see 15 species, so its great that you can see 30-40 species
While vacationing in northern Wisconsin last week, í discovered the Merlin bird app Great for identification of nearby birdsong! Got an eagle, loon, jay and assorted birds I didn’t even know about!
I think the definition of garden/backyard bird is not necessarily a bird you can find your backyard, but rather a bird that is common in any suburban park. At least that is what I have noticed.
Also thanks for the video, I realized I have actually heard a Song Thrush before in an old "mystery" recording, lifer #799(!!!).
One last thing, for greenfinch the better call to know is the loud and monotone "REEEEEEEEEE" call. VERY distinctive!

I saw a lot of these guys when I went to the Netherlands a few months ago. Many more I only heard! Somehow never could see a chaffinch but heard them often. Weirdly I see more starlings here in the US than I saw there. Way more blackbirds and jackdaws than starlings.
