That’s a lovely car, but I agree with a previous poster, you need to rebuild the engine because the mains/big ends are knocking and the timing chain needs replacing. Well worth doing though.
Very nice, although the wheels should of been silver or gray, helps break up the black color originally they were gray from the factory, the grill as well,it's too much black.
If you touch the clutch pedal gently with engine running , the noise stops that's the thrust bearing, but what I'm hearing is a lower noise , main bearing rumble, I may of course be wrong, I am only hearing it from your vidie, but I've been a mechanic all my life, have worked on loads of Morris minors in my time, even owned one , I don't mean to upset you the car other than that is very very good
Very well done ! Another piece of history well preserved for many years to come. Thanks for showing us.
Thank you Colin, and thanks for watching too!

Once I’ve got funds gathered up, the engine will be getting looked at for sure
Congratulations. Its been a real treat watching it come together. Enjoy the driving !

absolutely beautiful - great job mate
Thank you very much!
nice restoration job
that knock sounds like a rod bearing
in my experience they only get worse in time

I don’t understand

Thank you. You are incorrect, however. Series 2 Minors had body coloured wheels from factory. Grille can be grey, I choose not to.
you did a great job to bring that car back. it was close to being unsalvagable with the amount of rot. congratulations. was that your first project?
Thanks! No, I had done a Land Rover prior to this, it can be found on this channel also!

Thank you very much!
Have the same vehical, but is a side valve, yours had an engine swap?
This has had an engine swap, yes, but was never side valve, just a smaller capacity A-Series - 803cc I believe
I've only just found this channel. A beautiful restoration of one of my dream cars. Fantastic job! Is she for sale ?!
Rik79Duc Thanks, glad you like it! I'm flattered but no, the car is not for sale, took too much work to sell!
Zzzsorry to say , sounds like you have a main bearing problem which you should sort out , the engine sounds rough
Ken Randall Thurst bearing needs replacing, mains are actually ok though

Another subject: I had a 52 convertible in 62. Met a fellow with a 62 Jag who let me drive it...... the Jag had the same ashtray .
Hahaha, that’s funny!
swap the original engine with mini 1275 twin carb. you will be able to daily drive her.
Now there's an idea!
Too shiny and false looking imo.
Everyone’s entitled to an opinion
