The game is changing from a fun and fair play to pay to win game! Hope R2 games understand this is bad for the game! Hope they will nerf those rakshasa heroes soon or no one will play anymore this game!
for me Tiamat is good, you just need to have a tanky initiator on your team like lubu, shimen, lee etc. as she needs to be inside in an instant, hence, the ulti on your initiator teammate, yep she struggles at being the frontliner as it is hard to ulti during clash, she is more like a tank/support so you will not enjoy using her if you want kills like other tanks can do such as burni, rockman etc. try this build: guardian boots, searing longsword, retribution mail, life spring, forcefield jewel, phoenix heart, then upgrade to summoning armor. if devs decide to buff her, i suggest to increase the passive chance to 30%-35%, like mulan's passive at 35% although mulan's is for single target but it relies on her basic attack damage which can be directly increased with physical items, while Tiamat is fixed area damage so i think 30%-35% chance is reasonable for a tank. or atleast make the passive a pure damage.😅
Tiamat excels on asisting allies pushing towers protecting dps he is not that bad im a tank user he excels on roaming making fights 3v2 easily with proper positioning map awareness and utilize teleport and ult he can be very annoying but i agree the CC should buff at least 2 sec but to me he not a trash :)

He is not a bad champion i like how tiamat excels on assisting allies pushing turrets and protecting dps heroes although he lacks damage but with proper positioning and his global ult he can roam easily make the fight 3v2 a good tiamat player should utilize his ult and teleport while on 5v5 just shield the first one that the enemies engaged join the fight. I am a tank user and he is a fair champion to me not a trash :)

You can buy tiamat for gold after lexicon end. For me as tank user, top tank is Raker and tiamat. Tiamat can teleport from far away using her ult, so it's very good for ganking. Also her ult have high bar shield and protect carry from far away. for me HE is just fine with the monetation system. HE have so many hero that cheap to buy with in game money (gold/shard/point) Other game is stupid expensive to buy 1 hero using real money or in game money.
You are correct, there's no excitement in every update anymore. My wife and I have been playing HE since its release, but now HE is getting ridiculously "pay to win" game. I won't be surprised if more than half the players will switch to LOL WILD RIFT.

I used to love this game and I played it for like 3 years but thank god I stopped playing it ...so many wrong things with it first it has become such a pay to win game witch sucks and the game mechanics suck there is no balance between heroes I can't count the amount of times I have raged plus the game devs don't listen to their fans so trust me throw this game in the garbage and stay patient for LOL Wild Rifts atleast they take there fans seriously ...so wild rifts you won me over

She is just pure support damage absorber sacrificial tank, to have a kill with her is just a bonus.

Farm on lanes are the fastest. My suggestion is you farm lanes first then jungle. Do it over and over again. Also, join kill or assist.
