The GAN 12 MagLev is said to have a bad catching issue where you try to corner cut. It takes 2 clicks to corner cut whereas in the GAN 11 M Pro it only takes one. It isn't visible in this video. The main difference between the 2 cubes is supposed to be larger corner-to-core magnets in the 12 but GAN did a weird change to the pieces which resulted in the catching issue. But J Perm showed in his video called I FIXED THE GAN 12 that if you use the pieces of the GAN 11 M Pro with the removable core magnets from the GAN 12 MagLev and the 12 MagLev's core, you get a cube without the catching issue but can turn automatically. Those who are planning to buy this cube do take this into consideration. Also consider the GAN 12 Leap as overshooting is common due to less friction on the MagLev version. If you have the GAN 11 M Pro already then you should either stick with it or get the 12 and swap the pieces. This took a long time to type, thanks for reading!
For me, setting the corner-core magnets to the strongest hexagonal magnets seemed to fix the issue. This might not work for everyone. Even after then, the GAN 11 was still a better cube. I still get normal times with the GAN 12, because it feels so bad to turn, but it’s just so fast that the speed makes up for the feel. Still recommend GAN 11.

F2L might take a lot of time to learn when compared to a good cross or look-ahead, 2-look OLL and 2-look or even full PLL takes different times to learn for different people.

the edge maglev fight the force of center piece maglev which is both of them works in opposite direction,i think the winner is the strongest maglev on center piece rather than the weaker maglev of the edge piece,so it's a complex set up

I got my first MagLev two days ago, and when I tried, it felt different for sure, pleasing and all.
But I couldn't think of how different it actually is... Until I got to my main 3x3 right after solving the MagLev.
My main is the smoothest AND most stable of my 3x3 collection... Well... It WAS.
I couldn't believe it, it felt like playing with ye olde rubik's cube with its catch of springs.
I'm addicted now, MagLev is the real thing!
