Video comes in handy as I have just had an accident on this roundabout travelling from Bedworth, heading towards the m6 using the far left lane which takes you either left towards Coventry or straight towards the m6. A car was in the middle lane which your video and the road signs show goes towards to m6 or Nuneaton. The driver decided to turn left and hit the rear driver side panel of my car. When we stopped, the driver and his idiot wife were adamant I was in the wrong lane and that I had hit them. They stressed how both lanes turn left towards Coventry…
I know this is old and wont help you but for other people. At sign 3:02 , you can see it shows M6 people are leaving for morway (1st lane) after the traffic light. In the 2nd lane, you can either go to Bedford or Coventry after the traffic light. See the arrow pointing left and straight. And the order of the town. Bedford then Coventry. This means to go Bedford you have to pick the 1st lane (go to the left lane) and for cov you stay on the second lane. At 4:16, he's going Cov, so he picks the second lane. In exam if you pick the wrong lane (say you pick bedford but you are going cov)- that's fine, just exit on the wrong town (bedford) rather than lane switching to right - as lane switching is an instant fail - as you will hit the people driving in the Cov lane.
Hello. Thank you for your comment. You are correct, there are two M6 roundabouts in Coventry. This video I have filmed is designed to help with the Coventry practical driving tests and that is the main focus in mind. Because this roundabout comes up on the route of most of the tests.
Hello Carla. If you are referring to clip 6:41 Coventry to Bedworth we only need a signal on exit as the lane is marked ahead/straight on the ground on approach to the roundabout and while in the roundabout it’s marked ahead/straight. Hope that answers your question. Thank you

Gonna be pedantic but there are 2 M6 roundabouts in Coventry. This one, which is in Exhall and J2 which is in Walsgrave.

do we need to indicate right around or do we donut with no signal and just signal left to come off please ?
