Damn! I wish we had those types of units here in Australia, when we buy a unit we have to spend 3 hours fitting it out with dual pressure switches, oil seps and all the other good stuff, never seen scrolls used in refrigeration here in oz...... ur emerson controller looks like a dixel control thats what we use here great video rasta!
Samuel Rule thanks for watching, I thought scrolls were to be the standard 10 years ago, lol. it would be neet to see if your emerson dealer can get them. on a side note did u see mic fanning at jbay last sunday? that was crazy!!!!!!!
rasta1kikker yer man who knows if u ask u can probably get em the definetly shit all over our units not much copeland stuff in Australia honestly.......and yer that was crazy the country is only just now stopped talking about it every 2min, i dont blame him if he never gets back in the surf but i reckon he will his tough
hey nor-cal if u ever do a new install on a walk in can u please just get some camera time on how the wires are ran from the evaporator to the timer and the solenoid am new at this and i haven't got a chance to learn how the wires are ran or like a schematic if u can that would be great thank you for ur time
Good job you don't have to use 56% sliver solder they do have the blue rod which is 45% sliver solder and the orange rod is 56% sliver solder and they have flux inside the rod haven't use spool in over 10 years it easier then carrier the rock hard flux . And they haven't use pressure control in long time because of the blend in refrigerant in it hard to calibrate that pressure control .when I have a problem change over to A19 or ranco electric thermostat
Thanks Nor Cal great video as always. Is that mini rose bud torch tip necessary to make the solder connection on the rotolock to the tubing? I have the same or similar oxy setup as yours but I only have the #1 and #2 welding/braising tips?

Another professional job Dave. It’s nice when you can park the van right beside the job too.
great video, I enjoy learning more about refrigeration from you
talyn875 thanks Zack,
Good job. Those controllers are nice but i still like the good old pressure controls myself. Nice looking work!
nice to see all those new units fit in the old vangina!
Capitol Refrigeration,Heating, and Cooling it good stuff 👍
Brother, you got me hooked on that 56%, been using it all the time on those roto locs, makes it a breeze. Thanks for the tip.
Charles
hannarye your welcome.
Nicely done bro those digital presses stats/thermostats will never last as long as the old fashioned mechanical type
Those are nice looking units, wish we got them here.
heavydiesel only 80$ more than the other ones.
very very nice job watcted it a few times took note's thank's for sharing!!!

Nice job....thanks for sharing!

What would be my cutt inn and cut out for a Same condenser using 407c
Hey Rasta, what's the model # on that torch tip? I've been looking for one and can't seem to find anything.
David O'Doherty mini rose bud from victor, got it on amazon.
Hey can you tell me the setting for medium temp using 404A using this controller.
sweeeeet love it !!!

Edward socha the pressure switch is for pump down not temp control, thanks for watching.
I have a little rosebud tip like yours, a nd I can really braze a lot eàsier with it.
Do you have a number I can call?? I'm installing an Emerson forca freezer and have some questions
