When you get all character in elite smash you should unlock “random” as a character.

He didn't. If you go frame by frame during his running, you see what he's holding is way too flat and curvy to be a Switch. It's most likely just something he made with tape and something hard. That's also not what a switch sounds like when it hits a hard surface. It sounds way more violent when you drop it.
