Yes fluff is a must, not my favorite thing to do but looks so much better. It looks nice but not my thing. Our tree is full of Hallmark and kids ornaments and homemade things the kids made. We all help out and it's so full you can hardly see any green🤗love it!! Tfs Liz

My 12 year old Grandson wanted to put up a new tree I just bought.I told him to fluff every branch and he did! He spent 2 hours just fluffing,but it looks so good! I did ribbon for the first time,and lots and lots of picks.A male friend stopped by,and commented that my tree looked like a Decorator had done it! Coming from a guy, I really appreciated that he noticed,since many men don't really comment on things like this.I am so happy.Now, can't wait to use my old tree in my bedroom,and see what I can do to make it new!

Jessica McIntosh thank you I love decorating....used to decorate wedding receptions. I owned a Bridal Shop and party shop. Great fun. But stressful. Decorate every holiday..help friends sometimes. Also did kitchen and bath design for eight years so that added even more of the designing aspect. Is the manager at Michaels for a while so hence I am decorating in my blood. And I absolutely love it I should have my own damn channel I swear.

Marlene Jones you must make the best of what you have. Remember there are some great decorations at Dollar Tree, for just $1.00. I shop there a lot👍🏻
@@patsybaby60 its hard to shop for much of anything but thats the only store i can afford. Im very happy i have what i have right now. Im making some jewelry with the items i have from last year and will also make paper beads. I only need 7 dollars worth of items like the glue, an xacto knife and some glaze which will be DT clear finger nail polish. Ha then im busy and happy making things for loved ones for holiday gifts

Liz! I must be a year behind you bc I have a similar idea for my tree this year! lol! I think the main difference is I'm adding in natural wood elements and a few black ornaments as well! Thank you for all you do! You're creativity is awesome and you always inspire me!!!

Liz, your tree is beautiful! I dont think I care for the snow fluff but that's just me. A tip on fluffing: I just put the base branches on and the fluff those; then put the next tier on and fluff those; and finally the top tier. You are right! Fluffing makes a huge difference!

I really love how your tree turned out. The mixing of the white/black check and the red/black check looks so good. I was going to do one or the other with the buffalo check but after seeing yours I will do both on my big tree. Looks awesome. I have a lot of the same ornaments from Dollar General this year. I also did my ribbon like that last year (the shorter pieces) and it looked good and it is pretty easy!! Thanks for the ideas!! I would love to see all your trees you do.

Your tree is exactly my vision for my tree. Red & black buffalo check is my main decor idea this year. Unfortunately my kid's really enjoy decorating the tree with all of our mitch match ornaments we've collected over the years. When we buy a house in a year or two, I'll have the room to put up several trees. Then I can have a nice tree like yours and a "memory" tree like what I do now 🤣 This video was definitely helpful. I love the way this came out.

I just put 360 solid gold balls up the interior of my 12' memory tree in our living room. That adds a lot of depth and glimmer from the inside of the tree to the outside.😊 makes a huge difference.
I absolutely love how you did this tree. I've been wanting to mix the 2 buffalo check ribbons but was afraid it was too much, and yours is so gorgeous! I'm going to do this and thank you so much for the tutorial on how to decorate a tree. 😊😊
