      I'll be sharing your pain shortly! My mk2 just failed on both lower ball joints!

    The nut that holds the ball joint on I've removed the nut on the RHS but is the another thread because I've noticed you using a socket on the other side of the bolt

      It’s not threaded, the bolt can be tight to remove due to rust. Give it a soaking with some penetrating fluid. I used the ratchet to remove the bolt. You could try putting the nut on partially, place a socket on the nut and give it a tap to see if that will help to release it.

    Nicely mended matey. Now I know how to replace the ball joints on my Renault Clio Mk3. Can you do a video on how to replace the crankshaft oil seal on an Audi A3? I'm having no end of bother with mine 👍

    Good Job bro ! Can u help me ? Do you know the VEMA suspension parts brand? Do you have any advice you can give me?

    • @menditmatey3368
      @menditmatey3368  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s not a brand that I’m familiar with. What sort of advice are you looking for?
      Thanks.

    Salut, ma clio a 220000 kms.
    Cela vaut il le coup de changer les triangles de suspension ?

    Is that a standard vice grip your using? Trying to figure out how to remove the same ball joint

    • @menditmatey3368
      @menditmatey3368  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was long nose pliers to remove the retaining clip. The other tool to press out and press in the balljoint is a balljoint service tool, you can get them on eBay.

    Just get the driveshaft out of the wheel hub and get yourself some space dude. The correct way is to press the ball joint the opposite way out
